As Gekko Hayate announced the start of the match, Hinata and Neji simultaneously activated their Byakugan.
Both of them assumed offensive stances, and in the blink of an eye, they had exchanged blows several times, competing in the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist.
Compared to Hinata, Neji became increasingly alarmed as the fight progressed. He never expected that the young lady he thought only knew about love and romance would possess such strength.
Hinata was in no way inferior in the Gentle Fist competition.
He even seemed to be trying to outdo Neji, which was unavoidable, given how he always sparred with Naruto and Sasuke.
Hinata's least impressive technique is Gentle Fist. Although it seems powerful, it relies on the Byakugan to strike pressure points, thereby sealing them and disrupting the flow of Chakra.
But this doesn't seem to be of any use, does it?
Not to mention Naruto, even Sasuke knows many powerful Ninjutsu, so getting close enough to strike all of Hinata's pressure points would be a very difficult task.
Not only does she need to dodge Ninjutsu, but she also needs to quickly strike all the pressure points she needs to hit in a very short time.
The key point is that both of them are quite skilled in hand-to-hand Taijutsu, and Hinata doesn't gain any advantage when they get close.
But such difficulties are quite challenging.
Over time, Hinata's Taijutsu improved significantly.
And so, despite Neji's fierce attacks, Hinata actually managed to fight him to a standstill.
Even Hyuga Hiashi in the stands was filled with disbelief; when did his daughter become so amazing?
Meanwhile, Neji was getting anxious when he realized that his Gentle Fist was no match for Hinata's.
It seems he needs to reveal some things ahead of time; originally, he intended to use these things when facing a stronger opponent.
"Excuse me, young lady."
After saying this, Neji assumed the starting stance for the Eight Trigrams Fist. The Hyuga clan members on the stage gasped in surprise upon seeing Neji's action.
"This is... the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms? He's learned it? How is that possible?"
"How could someone who's separated from the family possibly know this kind of trick?"
Neji ignored the gossip in the stands, his Byakugan already locked onto Hinata's location.
"Eight Trigrams and Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms "
In an instant, a giant Tai Chi Bagua diagram spread out from under Neji's feet, enveloping him and Hinata within it.
"Young Miss, please forgive me."
Fists, palms, and fingertips struck Hinata's pressure points frantically, leaving her only able to frantically defend herself against the onslaught.
But faced with such an attack, she had no choice but to defend herself; otherwise, if she were hit by such a fierce attack, she would definitely be immobilized by pressure points and unable to unleash her Ninjutsu.
After the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, Hinata remained steadfast, which surprised Neji. He hadn't expected that the seemingly frail young lady would be so strong.
"Young Miss, you can't lift your arm anymore, can you?"
Neji Byakugan at the pressure points on Hinata's arm; he had already sealed most of them, and now she probably couldn't even lift her arm.
"Young lady, you should give up. Your personality isn't suited to be a ninja. Why don't you go home and be a good wife and mother?"
Hinata, though slightly out of breath, gave the answer in her eyes: give up? Impossible!
Hinata a hand Hand Seals with one hand, gathering Chakra.
Then, with a wave of her hand, a coin appeared as if by magic between her index and middle fingers.
Naruto and Sasuke, watching from below the stage, were also watching this scene with tension, wondering if they were about to use that move.
Neji frowned as he looked at Hinata, not understanding what she was up to.
But as I said before, "Miss, I've already told you, if you go down now, I..."
Before Neji could finish speaking, he felt a chill run down his spine.
Drawing on his years of experience as a ninja, he immediately activated the Rotation.
" Rotation."
A massive blue oval-shaped defense protected Neji within it, and a blue beam of light slammed into the Rotation, clearly the Railgun.
"What? Rotation? He's just a branch family member, and he already knows this?"
"Who taught him that?"
"I don't know? How could I possibly teach someone who's split up the family?"
However, the Rotation was not enough to withstand the power of the Railgun. Neji, who was in the Rotation, also realized this, so he quickly stopped the output of Chakra, hurriedly moved away from the previous position.
With a loud bang, a huge circular crater was blasted into the ground.
Neji was covered in cold sweat. If he had reacted even a fraction of a second slower, he might have ended up meeting his father.
Swallowing hard, Neji began to take this young lady, whom he had previously disregarded, seriously. He hadn't expected her to possess such powerful Ninjutsu.
His gaze fell on Naruto Uzumaki in the stands. Was this also your doing?
Neji couldn't believe that the Hyuga Clan possessed such powerful Ninjutsu.
At this moment, Hinata revealed a barely perceptible smile.
He slightly moved his other arm and finally used his Chakra to break open the acupoints that had been sealed. Now it was his turn to perform.
"Be careful, I'm not very proficient at the Ninjutsu I'm about to use."
" Railgun, multiple shots."
Hinata held out her hand, with a coin between each pair of fingers.
Explosions rang out, and plumes of smoke filled the dueling arena.
After the smoke cleared, an unbelievable scene came into view.
Hinata's finger was pointed at Neji's neck, but she no longer had the strength to go any further.
Chakra, all used up?
Naruto, sitting in the audience, raised an eyebrow, looking at Hinata on stage, somewhat confused about what this girl was doing.
Hinata could feel Neji's blood throbbing beneath her fingertips. If she took just one more step, Neji would gush blood, and she would win this exam.
But the person in front of him was his own brother; how could he possibly bring himself to do it?
She ultimately couldn't bring herself to do it, but Neji on the other side clearly hadn't thought that far ahead.
Seeing his chance, he surged with Chakra, intending to end Hinata's ninja career immediately.
Naruto, sitting in the audience, naturally noticed this.
"You brat, how dare you?"
But someone was faster than Naruto. Kakashi appeared on the stage in an instant, grabbed Neji's wrist, and prevented him from advancing an inch further.
"Hey kid, that's a dangerous idea of yours."
Kakashi glared at Neji and shoved his hand away.
Seeing that Hinata no longer had the strength to fight, Kakashi could only advise her:
"Surrender, Hinata."
Hinata simply sighed softly upon hearing Kakashi's words.
I surrender.
After saying that, she looked at Neji with a complicated expression, and finally uttered only a single, subtle sentence.
"Brother, I really can't bear to... attack my own family."
After saying this, Hinata turned and left, leaving Neji standing there dumbfounded, bewildered in the wind.
"Father, did I really do something wrong?"
Upon hearing this, Gekko Hayate quickly announced the winner.
The winner of this match: Neji Hyuga.
Naruto, sitting in the audience, was furious. He finally understood what had just happened: Hinata was considering the bond between siblings, but Neji was doing something else entirely.
He kept saying "I've offended you" and "I'll punch you if you want to."
He even wanted to cripple Hinata just now, how dare he?
If there weren't people watching, Naruto would have already rushed up and beaten up Neji, his brother-in-law.
