"You're surprised, aren't you? Sorry, but I'm just this invincible!" The White-Robed Man stared at him provocatively.
Tsukikaze panicked for a few seconds before quickly regaining his composure. His scarlet Three Tomoe slowly spun. "Genjutsu: Sharingan!"
Tsukikaze felt the hand around his throat loosen. Just as he breathed a sigh of relief, that force suddenly tightened again, making it hard for him to breathe.
"Why?!" Tsukikaze asked through gritted teeth.
The White-Robed Man could not be bothered to waste words with him. He slowly lifted Tsukikaze off the ground and coldly threatened, "I ask, you answer. Otherwise... die!"
Tsukikaze felt that icy gaze fixed on him, as though he had fallen into an ice cellar. A chill surged through his body, and goosebumps covered his skin.
"You came from Kara?" the White-Robed Man asked.
"Yes," Tsukikaze answered bluntly.
Even the White-Robed Man had not expected such a straightforward answer. He had thought Tsukikaze's exceptional combat skills and calm analytical ability would make him a tough nut to crack.
"Then where is Kara's headquarters?" the White-Robed Man asked directly.
Tsukikaze fell silent for a moment, seeming to deliberate as he struggled within himself.
The White-Robed Man, on the other hand, looked relaxed. He was in no hurry and simply waited quietly for Tsukikaze's answer.
"It's..." Tsukikaze hesitated, as though he had yet to make up his mind. He stammered, "It's... it's somewhere you can never reach!"
Tsukikaze's tone suddenly sharpened. His Sharingan glowed scarlet as he violently twisted in midair, only to receive a heavy blow to the neck.
Yet the other party clearly had no intention of letting go. The grip around his throat tightened further, and agonizing suffocation flooded his chest.
Without the slightest hesitation, Tsukikaze drove his blade toward his own neck. His movements were so fierce that
