Mizukage Chōjūrō's face was filled with unconcealed astonishment. Boruto's development of ninjutsu was already exceptional, yet he had never expected Boruto to defeat Kagura through sheer talent in swordsmanship as well.

The students might not have understood the battle just now, but he could clearly sense that Kagura had gone all out. It had been his most serious duel yet; he had even put aside the reservations in his heart toward the sword.

"Maybe I just got lucky. I could tell he wasn't in a good state. The hesitation and panic when he held his sword were impossible to hide."

Based on how the match had felt, Boruto offered his assessment.

The Mizukage sighed gloomily.

"I've heard a little about the Fourth Mizukage's brutal rule. His surname is Karatachi, so he must be connected to him, right?" Boruto asked curiously.

The Mizukage frowned slightly and looked toward Kagura, who was walking over. Kagura seemed rather downcast, though he did his best to put on a friendly smile.

"Thank you for your guidance just now. Boruto's talent for swordsmanship is terrifyingly extraordinary." Kagura wore a strained smile.

"If there's a hurdle you can't cross, try cutting it down. Nothing can stop a fine sword from being honed sharper." Boruto glanced at him and offered his advice.

He then looked at the Mizukage once more, said no more, and turned to walk toward his classmates. A passionate crowd was waiting there to cheer and celebrate the victor.

"Boruto, you're amazing!" Denki's eyes
