"It's fine, let's begin." Claire smiled as well. "What should I call you?"
"Just call me Qu Rong." The young man across from her nodded. "And what should I call you?"
"Antonio," Claire said. After her previous experience with the curse, she now understood the importance of using a false name.
Qu Rong frowned slightly, finding the name somewhat awkward to pronounce.
Only then did Claire continue, "There's no need for formalities. Let's get straight to it."
"I'm very interested in your Netherworld Soul-Locking Hook. How powerful is it?"
"This is a secret treasure passed down by the Ghost Nether Sect since ancient times. It was crafted from countless precious materials, and I only obtained it after wiping out their sect. As for its power, any Ghost King-level ghost that gets hooked has no ability to resist before it. Even Ghost Emperor-level ghosts wouldn't dare fight it head-on and could only flee."
Claire raised a hand to stop his explanation. "Please wait. That's too vague. Do you have a more specific example? Footage would work too."
"No need for footage. I'll demonstrate it directly."
As he spoke, Qu Rong stood up and took a small gray pouch from his robes. Wisps of murky ghostly aura seeped from the pouch.
Then Qu Rong tapped the gray pouch, opening its mouth slightly. A stream of black mist immediately slipped out.
As it emerged from the pouch, the black mist grew larger and gradually took the shape of a little boy. However, the boy's expression was savage, with a trace of gloominess.
The moment it came out of the pouch, the ghost child did not dare linger for even an instant. It lunged straight at the window, smashing through it and reducing the wooden frame to splinters. The entire building began to shake.
