After leaving the tavern, Claire headed down another main road in Mary Port.
She wandered at a leisurely pace, treating herself like a tourist. She bought quite a few local specialties before finally stopping outside a dessert shop. She had heard that this was the best-reviewed dessert shop in all of Mary Port.
Claire did not particularly like sweets, but Yana, Yuna, and Melly might. She decided to buy some anyway and bring them back as gifts.
After entering, Claire was led around by a server and looked over all the desserts and cookies. She sampled a few as well. Sure enough, just as people said, the shop offered a wide variety of desserts, and they tasted quite good.
Perhaps she could have the owner open a branch in Mermaid Port as well. With that thought in mind, Claire bought quite a few of the more popular desserts and placed them in her Spatial Ring.
She also had the server pack up a portion for her, so she could snack on it while wandering around later.
Just as Claire finished paying with Silver Dragon Coins and was about to leave, a fashionably dressed young woman suddenly stepped in front of her.
Claire raised her head in confusion. The young woman was rather pretty, but she was not looking at Claire. Her eyes were fixed on the ring on Claire's wrist.
Before Claire could ask anything, the young woman spoke first. "Was this ring designed by Master Mason?"
Claire was somewhat surprised. The ring had indeed been designed by Mason. Jewelry was not only good for harvesting women's money; men had plenty of accessories too. The one Claire wore was one of Mason's experiments, and it had not yet been put on the market.
