Claire's eyes sparkled with surprise. Merlin had actually discovered a new plane and was even inviting her to explore it with him.
Discovering a plane was an extremely low-probability event to begin with. Ever since the Kingdom of Arcanum conquered the Blazing Flame Plane, they had not found a single new large plane to continue conquering.
Moreover, every plane was an immensely valuable resource. Merlin's intention to invite her along made Claire even more surprised.
He was clearly offering Claire a huge benefit. If that plane was not particularly powerful, then if the two of them cleared it alone, Merlin would at least give her a considerable share of its resources.
"Wouldn't that be inappropriate?" Claire declined.
"What is inappropriate about it? Aren't you a spatial mage? And now you're an Archmage too. You also have experience exploring planes, so compared to other mages, you're already an excellent candidate."
