Within the void was refined the Unborn form; the spirit roamed heaven and earth, and that was true profundity.
What was a Profound Immortal? One who condensed a dharma form from nothingness and obtained body and soul within the void. In simple terms, it was a great divine ability practitioner who turned the Great Dao from void into reality and condensed the universe of their own body.
If a Heavenly Immortal was a regional hegemon, stirring wind and clouds, someone no one dared regard lightly,
Then a Profound Immortal was a true Chess Player.
One word could become law beneath heaven; one thought could decide the calamities of all living beings. Advancing, they could prop up an undying Dao lineage and receive the worship of myriad spirits; retreating, they could stand aloof beyond worldly things, watch the mortal world surge like tides, free and unfettered.
The two seemed separated by a single line, but in truth the difference was that between mountain and sea. To give a common example, the former was like a young general just beginning to show his edge, while the latter was a lord who smiled as he watched wind and clouds. They simply could not be mentioned in the same breath.
"Junior, you dared to touch the heir of my Li Family. No matter what background you have, come with me first."
Above the nine heavens, an ethereal Dao voice drifted over, and one could not discern joy or anger from it. There was only a detachment that towered over all things, like a god handing down judgment.
Then, a giant hand that could cover the sky came crashing down. Wherever it passed, space split apart and then closed again, laws of birth and death flowing within, playing out the withering and flourishing of all
