"Is this your house?"
Yang Jian drove Zhang Wei to a place that looked like an estate.
There were no skyscrapers in sight. The entire area was filled with upscale residential compounds. In a place like this within the city, a single villa would start at tens of millions.
Only rich people could afford to live here.
"No, this is just one of my homes." Zhang Wei raised his brows, looking rather pleased with himself.
"..."
Fine.
He should not have asked. He had given this guy a chance to show off.
"Sir, please stop your vehicle."
Just then, a security guard from the compound stopped Yang Jian's car.
"Big Brother, is something wrong?" Yang Jian rolled down the window and asked.
"Sir, you are not a resident here, are you? Our rules state that non-residents are not permitted to enter." The guard said, "I hope you will cooperate with our work."
"Zhang Wei, aren't you going to say something?" Yang Jian said.
"Sir, what is your friend beside you doing?" The guard vaguely saw that Zhang Wei seemed to be holding a gun and immediately became wary.
"I'm jerking off. What, is there a problem?"
Zhang Wei looked up in confusion. "Why are you stopping the car? He's my friend, and he's bringing me home. Can't you make an exception?"
The guard eyed him suspiciously. He had clearly recognized Zhang Wei, and he also saw the Golden Desert Eagle in his hand, along with the bullets beside it.
After thinking for a moment, he finally waved them through.
"It's fine. You may go in."
"Thanks." Yang Jian said, then drove inside.
"Security here is really strict. Places where rich people live really are different. Still, you're openly playing with a handgun in the car. It'd be easy for someone
