• Li Yan accepted leadership of the Soul Prison Clan, disciplined its dissenters, and arranged for its branches to reunite and migrate to the Northern Ice Continent.
• Li Yan explored the hidden passage to Fallen Immortal Slope, learned the Sacred Soul Transformation method, and visited Gu Jiuqi and his former companions at the Phantom Sect.
• Li Yan said farewell to Wei Chi Tuo and Miao Wangqing, learned that Sun Guoshu had died, and promised to seek a way to bring them to the upper realm later.
• Mu Guyue defended the border against the Red-Eyed Flame-Horned Beasts, then used Mu Sha’s scouting to strike their supply camp and destroy its teleportation formations.

Li Yan captured the Polar Ice Heart, moved it and the Snow Mosquito clan into Tuban, and helped reunite the Soul Prison Clan. After leaving to fulfill his upper-realm obligation, he was tracked and ambushed by Zhu Hongyi and Yanhe.

• Li Yan discovered that the red lightning sprite’s net resembled the Heaven-Stealing Kerchief’s threads, then used the kerchief to absorb the sprite and its lightning.
• Li Yan caught the Polar Ice Heart after patiently trapping it in its cave, cut it down to a smaller living section, and moved its cave into Tuban.
• The Polar Ice Heart revealed that it could nurture the Melting Shoot, and Li Yan ordered it to help the shoot grow while it recovered in Tuban.
• Li Yan moved glacier ice and the Snow Mosquito clan into Tuban, then joined Elder Hao in reuniting the three branches as the Soul Prison Clan.
• After receiving soul poisons and antidotes from Elder Hao, Li Yan left the clan and investigated Yin-Yang Chaos Sect outposts before traveling toward the Lost Continent.
• Zhu Hongyi and Yan He recognized Li Yan in Holy Devil City and secretly marked him as they followed him out of the city.
• Li Yan detected two powerful souls tracking him and changed course to test them, while Zhu Hongyi and Yanhe prepared to attack.
• Zhu Hongyi and Yanhe ambushed Li Yan with flying swords, but his treasures, armor, and physical defenses kept him alive as they tried to capture him.

Li Yan survived the spatial passage and Zhu Hongyi’s assault, then recovered with Mei Hongyu’s help in a secret realm. The two searched for a way out and entered a dangerous cavern path, where Li Yan fought a mysterious girl who appeared to be a powerful puppet.

• Li Yan drew the world’s rejection force into the fight with Zhu Hongyi and Yan He, and a black gate swept all three into a spatial passage.
• Li Yan killed Yan He and fought Zhu Hongyi, but the God-Slaying Sword pierced him and its fire drove him unconscious through the void.
• Mei Hongyu found Li Yan in the secret realm and spent days using the Wind Illumination Art to extinguish the fire poisoning his body.
• After recovering, Li Yan and Mei Hongyu explored the realm’s azure halo and passed through a gorge by destroying an azure humanoid.
• Li Yan and Mei Hongyu reached a cavern with a destructive black-light vortex and discovered a narrow path leading toward the green light above.
• Li Yan and Mei Hongyu followed the path, where Li Yan attacked a blood-red-dressed girl who kept recovering and ambushed him with a golden blade.
• Mei Hongyu warned Li Yan of the girl’s attacks, and Li Yan drove her back before suspecting she was a powerful puppet.

Li Yan used the Heaven-Stealing Kerchief to escape the sealed mountain cave and return Mei Hongyu to her homeland, then traveled with her to the Cangxuan Realm. He infiltrated Luo Gucheng to erase evidence of his identity, impersonated Yuan Zhen, and learned that Zheng Youlin claimed to know who had killed a missing Luo Gucheng team.

• Li Yan defeated the blood-red-dressed girl with fire, but the azure barrier blocked their path until the Heaven-Stealing Kerchief pulled him through it and transported him to the Desolate Moon Continent.
• Li Yan brought Mei Hongyu out of Tuban, offered to help her find a route to the Main Dao Realm, and learned that Gu Jiuqi had already ascended with Wei Chi Tuo and Miao Wangqing.
• Li Yan escorted Mei Hongyu through an ascension node to the Cangxuan Realm, then gave Sima Zimo the Polar Ice Heart and set out for Luo Gucheng.
• Li Yan learned that Zhu Hongyi had used Sword Spirit Spans Sun and Moon to discover clues about him, and that Luo Gucheng had sent teams to investigate the killings.
• Li Yan poisoned and searched Elder Lin and Elder Zhang, then posed as the injured Elder Lin to trap Yuan Zhen with Eye of Gui Water, Crimson Powder Pillow, and Soul-Severing Slash.
