• Li Yan entered a hidden passage with the red lantern and discovered a secret realm occupied by Huiyan Hall cultivators Cultivator Du and Cultivator Wu.

Li Yan’s warning enabled Return Home to expose Huiyan Hall’s agents and uncover the Second Ancestor’s betrayal, while he traveled to the Black Devil Race in search of Mu Guyue and Mu Sha. He found Mu Sha fighting behind enemy lines and watched as the young commander’s squad faced an encirclement.

• Li Yan left Shuang Qingqing and traveled through Dongyi City to the Jieyou Realm, where he gave Zuo Qiudan supplies and directions before continuing toward the Black Devil Race.
• Su Hong decoded Li Yan’s message, recovered captives and evidence against Huiyan Hall, and brought them to Return Home’s headquarters.
• The Grand Supreme Elder used Corpse Gu Grass to identify the Second Ancestor as a suspected Huiyan Hall agent, and the Third Ancestor helped investigate.
• The Third Patriarch found Brain-Twining White Corpse Gu in the Second Patriarch’s cave, but the Second Patriarch escaped their attack.
• Li Yan learned that Mu Guyue and Mu Sha had gone to the front lines, then traveled to the battlefield and watched Mu Sha’s squad approach an enemy ambush.
• Mu Sha detected the concealed ambush with his Blood Judgment ability and led his followers into battle against the Red-Eyed Flame-Horned Beast Clan.

Li Yan reunited with Mu Guyue and Mu Sha, then helped Mu Guyue devise a surprise assault on the Red-Eyed Flame-Horn Beast fortresses. The Black Devil Race launched coordinated attacks, and Mu Guyue’s forces breached a fortress as Mu Han moved to intervene.

• Li Yan reunited with Mu Guyue and chose to stay with her and Mu Sha in the Black Devil Race army.
• Li Yan met Mu Sha, guided his cultivation, and accepted his choice to remain with his mother.
• Teng Zhang tested Li Yan in combat, but Li Yan concealed his true strength and kept his origins secret.

Li Yan helped Mu Guyue’s forces seize the fortresses, then supported her and Mu Sha through their breakthroughs. When the Nine-Headed Azure Phoenix Clan joined the war, Li Yan infiltrated the allied camp and tracked down Ming Qi and Ming Yu to learn why their clan had entered the conflict.

• Muhan’s forces found the fortress teleportation arrays destroyed, while Li Yan ambushed the group arriving at Hengdong Fortress and killed Elder Jin, Elder Mu, and Elder Meng before the Black Devil Race captured the fortresses.
• Mu Guyue’s army repaired the defenses, and Teng Zhang praised her surprise attack, rewarded the troops, and asked about Li Yan’s Sandstar King Stones.
• Mu Guyue handed over Hengdong Fortress and withdrew with her army to recuperate, while Li Yan helped Mu Sha reach Spirit Transformation and guarded Mu Guyue through her Heavenly Tribulation.
• After Mu Guyue stabilized her new realm, Teng Zhang transferred her from frontline command and revealed that the Nine-Headed Azure Phoenix Clan had joined the Red-Eyed Flame-Horned Beast Clan.
• Li Yan learned that Ming Qi and Ming Yu belonged to the Undying Underworld Phoenix Clan, then infiltrated the enemy’s second defensive line by impersonating a captured sentry.
