Li Yan straightened his tilted body and carefully examined the statue's remaining eye again.
The sole remaining eye, the arm ahead with its hand clenched into an empty fist, and the slightly bent lone leg combined into a curved posture that always struck him as exceedingly strange.
"If this statue was gazing from such a position, then unless it was deliberately leaving behind some clue, why had it been carved in this form? What did it signify?"
