More than ten years later, over a boundless sea, heaven-shaking roars rang out without cease in every direction, while tsunami-like waves surged high into the sky.

At the crest of the towering waves, a young man in white stood suspended in midair, his hands forming seals. Several hundred zhang ahead of him, eight enormous swords gleaming with chilling light flashed as they crisscrossed rapidly in all directions.

Black ghostly light flickered over the flying-fish sea demon's body, and a pair of wings grew from his flanks. With every flap, not only did his body swiftly vanish, but he could also sweep vast amounts of seawater into the air, forming towering tsunamis to attack.
Yet whenever the seawater blotted out the sky and struck toward the young man in white, it was frozen first by the eight extraordinarily cold ice swords, then turned into huge blocks of ice that crashed onto the sea. His attacks immediately came to nothing.
