Ye Chen and his companions recovered the ancient beasts’ remains and explored the ruins’ Pill Hall, where they acquired a Pill Beast. They encountered the Xuanming Sect group, but Elder Liu withdrew rather than risk a fight, leaving Chen Tiannan warned not to provoke Ye Chen.

• When blood revived the Stone Statues as Dou Zun-level Ancient Human Puppets, they attacked and killed more than a dozen Strong Persons.
• Ye Chen defeated the Strong Persons who surrounded him with Soul Arrows and took a Silver Scroll, while Zi Yan snatched a Red Scroll and escaped back to him.

When Hei Qing arrived seeking Ye Chen’s help with Zi Yan, Ye Chen brought Qing Lin along, and they reached Dragon Island.

• Qing Lin told Ye Chen how the Snake Spirit led her and Xian'er to an Ancient Nine-Headed Heaven Snake’s remains, where she summoned its remnant soul.

West Dragon Island and South Dragon Island attacked East Dragon Island, and Elder Zhu Li realized North Dragon Island might already be moving against Ye Chen.
