Undersea Volcano

"Pssh—"

The moment the three emerged from the seawater.

A thick layer of white mist rose from their bodies.

Asakawa Chinatsu turned to survey the surroundings, her eyes filled with shock. "This place is actually a volcano??"

The scorching air warped constantly, making even their vision somewhat blurry.

No one had expected it.

At the very heart of this dark, deep-sea cavern lay such a scene.

They came ashore from the seawater.

Even through a layer of equipment, the three could feel the waves of heat coming from the outside world.

They exchanged glances.

Then they carefully headed toward the depression in the distance.

Pssh—"

Fiery-red magma flowed slowly below.

The occasional bubbles swelled to their limits before bursting, then fell onto the surrounding rocks with a melting hiss that made their hearts pound.

Fortunately, the equipment they wore was sturdy enough and sufficiently well-equipped.

Otherwise, they had no doubt they would not last three minutes in this environment.

"This place is completely dead."

Solans Takao took out his treasure detector. Only a handful of scattered Energy Fluctuations appeared on it.

If his guess was correct, they were probably Fire Stones, or some Fire-type Items and materials.

Not Pokemon living here.

It made sense.

While some Pokemon could move freely through volcanoes, and even regarded them as their usual habitats.

This place was not only a volcano, but also located beneath the sea.

Leaving aside how anything could get here.

The surrounding environment could not provide enough food, either.

They could hardly have Fire-type Pokemon go into the seawater to catch Water-type Fish Pokemon to eat, could they?

It might be possible as part of their diet, but the difficulty seemed a little too great.

"I never expected there to be an undersea volcano here."
