There were two kinds of Pokemon outside the barrier, and both possessed highly distinctive traits.
The larger one, whose body measured a full three or four meters long, had a distinctly shaped horn growing from its forehead.
It seemed to support its weight solely on its hind legs, gliding through the water upright. Its tiny forelimbs remained motionless, as though they possessed no offensive capability.
Two slender tails extended behind it, while thick purple fur covered its neck.
If Tetsuya had to describe it—
This kind of Pokemon looked exactly like a tyrannosaurus rex version of Suicune.
The other kind looked very similar to Delibird.
The difference was that every one of them clutched an unknown spherical device in its hands.
A closer look made it easy to notice a tube extending from the back of the spherical device, connecting it to the Pokemon's body.
Most astonishing of all, every part of these "Delibird" appeared to be made of metal, filled with a mechanical feel.
They were just rather small, each only around 0.5 to 0.6 meters tall.
"Genetic creations and technological creations?"
Someone voiced their confusion. "The templates were Suicune and Delibird? Isn't the difference between them a little too great?"
The Trainers present clearly had a high degree of acceptance for these bizarre things that might or might not have been Pokemon.
Similar creatures were not uncommon in ruins from different eras.
After all, long ago, the relationship between humans and Pokemon had not been one of partnership as it was now, but one of enemies.
Against enemies—
Any method of resistance was acceptable.
"There's no data, so we can only make a rough estimate from their presence—at a glance, the vast majority are Elite Four Level individuals. That's ridiculous."
Though they did not have Zero like Tetsuya
