Inside the shuttle, Ming Xin sat cross-legged, his divine sense spreading like an invisible spiderweb as he carefully sensed the outside world.

"We're being followed." Ming Xin opened his eyes, his tone calm but carrying a trace of chill.
Without turning his head, Mo Jiang focused on adjusting the light screen ahead and said hoarsely, "As expected.
"If Shadow Eyes gave up so easily, they would not be called vipers that follow like shadows.
"They specialize in stealth and tracking. Their frontal combat strength may not be exceptional, but they are extremely troublesome, and there is usually more than one group."
On the light screen, several faint, flickering red markers appeared behind the point representing the World-Breaking Shuttle. They maintained what seemed like a safe distance, yet clung relentlessly to the shuttle.
"Can we shake them off?" Ming Xin asked.
"In normal voidspace, the World-Breaking Shuttle does not have much of a speed advantage.
"But once we enter the Turbulent Belt around the Abyss of Oblivion, the spatial structure will be complex and the rules chaotic. That will be our best chance to lose them."
Mo Jiang's tone was certain. "Provided they do not dare follow us in—or, after following us in, cannot withstand the environment there."
