The wails of the five towers almost simultaneously faded away and vanished. The surging dark red mist thinned to gauze, and the enormous vortices visibly slowed.

Like exhausted giants about to fall asleep. Without the mist's reflection, the crystallized layer in the central area appeared even darker.

Now!

Ming Xin shot out from behind the rock pillar like lightning, lowering his body and pushing his speed to the limit.

At the same time, he suppressed his aura and energy fluctuations to the utmost, like a shadow skimming the ground as he charged straight toward the central area!

The distance of three hundred zhang was crossed in an instant.

The moment he stepped onto the crystallized layer in the center, a strange sensation enveloped him.

The crystallized ground beneath his feet was icy and hard, yet it faintly transmitted weak, chaotic spacetime pulses.

It was as though he were stepping on the skin of some enormous being. The lingering pollution and spacetime disturbances in the air remained, but they were far weaker than during the eruption phase.

He did not waste any time. His perception spread out fully, sweeping over the scattered "items" around him like a scan.

Most were useless fragments: completely rusted and twisted chunks of metal, damaged crystals drained of energy, and unidentifiable organic remains...

But he quickly found something!

Near the base of one tower, half-buried in the crystallized layer, was an ore the size of a millstone. It was entirely deep blue, its surface covered in natural snowflake-like patterns!

A stable, icy energy fluctuation faintly emanated from within the ore. Though weak, it was exceptionally pure, bearing almost no traces of erosion by Chaos pollution!

This was clearly not a product of this deadly rift. The vortex must have carried it here from another world!
