On the battlefield at this moment, neither you nor Vortigern could do anything to the other. Otherwise, the battle could never have dragged on for so long.
Just then, the situation on the battlefield suddenly changed. Many knights appeared, including quite a few Knights of the Round Table.
It was Arthur!
Arthur led a host of knights into the battle, instantly breaking the deadlock and tipping the scales of victory in your favor.
Vortigern paid no attention to Arthur's arrival, as though he had known she would come all along.
You were covered in wounds, suppressed by Vortigern. Though you showed no sign of fatigue, Vortigern had long since seen through your techniques. The only reason you had held on without defeat for so long was because of your inherent skills and Instinct, which had allowed you to evade fatal blows time and again.
Arthur spotted you and Vortigern from afar. Without hesitation, she charged toward you with a Silver-White Spear you had never seen before, casually killing every Phantasmal Species that blocked her path with a single strike.
From the spear in Arthur's hand, you sensed a power somewhat similar to that of the tree. Yet the aura emanating from the tree was far less profound than that of the Silver-White Spear in Arthur's hand. Arthur must have temporarily left to obtain that spear.
Arthur joined your battle against Vortigern and told you to sever that tree while she held him back here.
Though covered in wounds, you did not hesitate in the slightest. Once Arthur held Vortigern back, you immediately withdrew from the fight and charged toward where the towering tree had taken root.
Before leaving, however, you seemed to hear Vortigern say something to Arthur, but you could not make out what it was at all.
As you pressed deeper inside, the Phantasmal Species gradually increased in number and grew stronger, as though they were trying to stop your advance. But you did not retreat in the slightest, slaughtering them all to carve a path toward the towering tree.
It took you quite some time to reach the towering tree. It seemed to be nurturing something, and what it was nurturing was about to emerge.
After entering this place, you had not seen any Phantasmal Species. Even those that had been pursuing you had vanished without a trace.
When you approached the towering tree, you felt your bloodline stir restlessly. It seemed to sense your intentions and wanted to stop you, yet you could also feel that if you did not fell the tree before you, something unimaginable would happen in Britain—something no one could foresee, except Merlin.
But at that moment, for some reason, you suddenly hesitated. You did not know why you hesitated. You only wondered whether choosing to sever this tree was truly the right thing to do.
Just then, the Knight's Judgment Bow suddenly appeared before you, radiating an immense brilliance. In an instant, the hesitation on your face vanished.
When you came back to your senses, you understood that you had been influenced. You had not expected this tree to have the power to affect people's hearts.
The longer you delayed, the more could go wrong. You no longer hesitated and directly activated the Noble Phantasm Sword of the Holy Knight.
Under your attack, the enormous tree before you rapidly collapsed. After it fell, it turned directly into specks of starlight and slowly dissipated between heaven and earth. Some of that starlight unexpectedly entered your body, leaving you at a loss.

At that moment, you sensed enormous energy fluctuations coming from the battlefield in the distance. Then you felt your strength rapidly decline, returning to its previous state.
You knew that this battle was over.
Just as you prepared to leave, you suddenly discovered that your body had been restrained at some unknown point.
Then, a figure appeared not far from you.
You asked who she was.
But she did not answer your question. Without a word, she launched an attack against you.
Inherent skill "Absolute Perseverance" activated!
Relying on your own strength, you broke free from the restraint and dodged the attack.
You had no time to think. You could only draw the Sword of the Holy Knight and counterattack, but at your current strength, you could not inflict any real damage.
She soon beat you until you were covered in wounds.
At that moment, you finally understood her identity—Arthur's sister, Morgan le Fay!
You also understood why she had appeared here. It was undoubtedly because of you.
You looked at her, knowing that she must have come fully prepared. There was no possibility of you leaving this place again.
But you still did not give up, continuing to swing the sharp sword in your hand at her.
Every one of your attacks was effortlessly blocked by her.
She soon inflicted severe injuries on you. With your strength suppressed, you could only display a tenth or perhaps even a twentieth of your true power. You were no match for Morgan at all.
Only after gravely wounding you did Morgan stop attacking. She looked at you, a trace of regret flashing through her eyes, then turned and left.
Morgan had not killed you. She had merely left you seriously injured. You could not understand why she had done so, but at that moment, you noticed that something seemed to have changed where you were.
Then everything before your eyes went black, and you lost consciousness.
Who knew how long had passed? You seemed to sense something and awoke from your slumber. Pain pierced your entire body. Since you had no idea where you were, you began to wander about in a daze.
You did not know your destination.
You did not know what you were supposed to do.
You did not know where you were.
You did not know why you were walking.
Ah, ah.
Why? Why did you have to keep walking?
I want to rest. I want to stop.
Yet you could feel that some unknown persistence was driving you onward.

You kept walking, and your mind gradually cleared. You discovered that you had arrived at a battlefield. Fallen knights lay all around, along with severed limbs and broken arms. Only in the distance was there a familiar figure, half-kneeling there.
You looked at that figure, opened your mouth, and finally said only, "Arthur."
