Yu Feng arrived in London with Rin and Emiya, then slipped away to find an acquaintance before reporting to the Clock Tower. After tracking a woman to a hidden, crumbling apartment, he entered and unexpectedly found Waver there.

  • Yu Feng explained the time difference to Emiya, and Rin agreed to let him go handle his own business.
  • Yu Feng searched London for a familiar magus, sensing magical fluctuations as he walked toward the Thames.
  • Yu Feng recognized a woman by her familiar aura and followed her to an ivy-covered apartment hidden by a naturally formed barrier.
  • Yu Feng followed the woman inside and entered a cluttered room filled with game consoles and books.
  • Yu Feng greeted Waver, remarking that they had not seen each other in a long time.

Ch. 186Waver

Yu Feng visited Waver Velvet, told him Kayneth might still be alive, and asked about Touko Aozaki before giving Waver money and heading to the Clock Tower. He reunited with Waver and Gray there and gave Gray a gift, leaving Waver stunned by what she received.

  • Waver mistook Yu Feng for Kaede Ryougi and questioned why he had come, while Yu Feng laughed at Lainis's complaints about him.
  • Yu Feng told Waver he believed Kayneth and Sola were not dead, but Waver demanded proof and remained unconvinced.
  • Yu Feng asked about Touko Aozaki, learned Waver did not know where she was, and gave Waver a card containing one hundred million dollars before leaving.
  • Yu Feng arranged for Rin to stay at the Clock Tower, then encountered Waver and Gray as they headed there.
  • Yu Feng praised Gray, teased Waver about warning his apprentice away from him, and handed Gray a gift that left Waver speechless.

Ch. 187Lainis

Yu Feng reunited with Waver and Gray at the Clock Tower, then brought Rin, Emiya, and Shinji to handle their enrollment. He entered Waver’s office and encountered Lainis and Melvin, where Lainis confronted him over his past disappearance.

  • Yu Feng gave Gray a protective rune stone before he and Waver parted ways at the Clock Tower.
  • Rin, Emiya, and Shinji arrived, and Yu Feng guided them toward enrollment, recommending that Shinji join the El-Melloi Classroom.
  • Yu Feng left the group and went to Waver’s office, interrupting a conversation between Waver, Gray, Lainis, and Melvin Weinz.
  • Lainis recognized Yu Feng as Kaede Ryougi and angrily reproached him for disappearing and leaving a mess behind.
  • Melvin recognized Yu Feng from the Department of Archaeology and asked whether he had come to commission another troublesome matter from Waver.

Ch. 188Animusphere

Yu Feng accompanied Waver, Gray, and others to investigate Ernest Fargo’s death at the Fargo estate, where the corpse had been arranged in a mysterious modern magecraft formula. Fernando recognized Yu Feng as Kaede Ryougi and agreed to relay his request to meet Marisbury Animusphere, while Waver began examining the crime scene.

  • Melvin explained that Waver had been commissioned to investigate Ernest Fargo’s death, and Yu Feng decided to accompany Waver and Gray to the Fargo estate.
  • At the estate, Mary Lilith Fargo welcomed Waver, and Fernando Lee began explaining Ernest’s research and the circumstances of his death.
  • Waver and the others inspected the estate’s celestial-themed corridors and found five of Ernest’s body parts arranged in the central hall, where the pattern did not match the expected magecraft formula.
  • Fernando identified Yu Feng as Kaede Ryougi, revealed that the Clock Tower had given him Brand rank, and agreed to pass his request to meet Marisbury Animusphere along.
  • Yu Feng left the central hall, while Waver took Gray to organize the information and Mary wondered whether Kaede Ryougi would become an obstacle.

Ch. 189Necromancy

Yu Feng and Waver uncovered how Ernest Fargo’s experimental magecraft had turned him into a revenant and triggered a swarm of undead, then Gray and Yu Feng helped defeat him. After the crisis, Yu Feng deduced the manor stood on an old burial ground, and the group left as Marie wondered whether Yu Feng had come only to announce Kaede Ryougi’s return to the Mage’s Association.

  • Yu Feng found Alec dead in Ernest’s study, where a revenant had attacked him after he touched one of Ernest’s body parts.
  • Waver revealed that Ernest had built the manor as a Magecraft Workshop to preserve his soul, and his discovery awakened Ernest as a revenant.
  • Fernando admitted that he and Ernest had summoned around a hundred revenants for experiments, and the undead surrounded the group as Ernest demanded Marie’s life.
  • Gray used Add and the rune stone Yu Feng had given her to fight the undead, while Yu Feng protected Waver and burned back the attackers with Rune Magic.
  • Gray struck down Ernest, causing him and the other undead to vanish, and Yu Feng later deduced that the manor stood on an ancient battlefield or burial ground.
  • As the group departed, Yu Feng told Gray to call him Yu Feng, and Marie wondered whether he had come only to announce Kaede Ryougi’s return to the Mage’s Association.

Ch. 191I Laid an Impenetrable Net at the Door Because I Didn't Want Anyone Disturbing Me

Yu Feng asked Waver and Lev for information about Marisbury Animusphere but learned only that he might visit the Mystic Eye Train. He left the Clock Tower without finding the old Director, planning to try his luck there.

  • Rin questioned Yu Feng about his Clock Tower status and learned he had chosen the Archaeology Department, while she, Matou, and Emiya had chosen Modern Magecraft.
  • Yu Feng wondered how to reach Marisbury Animusphere, then asked Waver for information after arriving at the Clock Tower the next day.
  • Waver said he knew nothing about Marisbury but confirmed he had arranged for the three Far Eastern visitors to enter the Clock Tower.
  • Yu Feng visited Lev's heavily trapped workshop in the Archaeology Department and asked whether he knew where Marisbury was.
  • Lev suggested Marisbury might visit the Mystic Eye Train because he was short on funds, and Yu Feng decided to wait and try his luck there.

Ch. 192Luvia Edelfelt, the Magecraft Workshop in the Sewers

Yu Feng broke up Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfelt’s destructive fight at the Clock Tower, then answered Gray’s call to investigate trouble in London’s sewers. There, Flat and Gray defeated a Thunder Rat and uncovered the entrance to a Magecraft Workshop, preparing to enter its lair.

  • Yu Feng returned to the Clock Tower and found Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfelt fighting while Emiya and Lainis watched.
  • Lainis explained that the Clock Tower’s Lords and instructors were away amid chaos following Karantron’s assassination and that Waver was investigating the sewers.
  • Yu Feng stopped the fight, took Rin Tohsaka away from Luvia Edelfelt, and left with Emiya.
  • Gray called Yu Feng at Lord El-Melloi II’s request to investigate the London sewers, and Yu Feng set off after learning magical energy could guide him.
  • Flat trapped a Thunder Rat with magical squares while Gray used Add as a scythe to kill it.
  • Flat and Gray disrupted the crude Magic Barrier and revealed an entrance to the monster’s lair, which they entered cautiously.

Ch. 193Gaia: Wait, I'll call the neighboring planet's Ultimate One to deal with you!

  • Guldoya Devnant unleashed Thunder Rats, but Waver and Sefn crashed into the workshop and joined the students.
  • Waver identified Guldoya Devnant’s experiments with lightning-infused rabbits and accused him of violating the Clock Tower’s rule of concealing Mystery.
  • Guldoya Devnant summoned a giant Electric Rabbit and ordered it to attack, but Yu Feng arrived and bound it with runes.
  • Yu Feng restrained the other Electric Rabbits, drew Kuji Kanesada, and killed them, leaving Guldoya Devnant defeated.
  • Gray corrected Yu Feng when he repeatedly misremembered Guldoya Devnant’s name.

Ch. 194Alone on the Wasteland, Fighting the Enemy Unbeaten!

Yu Feng went to assist Waver and Lainis with the Codrington dispute, but found the workshop surrounded by Black Dogs and a gate to the land of fairies. After destroying the spiritual ground to reach the workshop, he faced the Wild Hunt alone as it charged at him.

  • Lainis called Yu Feng and offered him an invitation to the Mystic Eye Train in exchange for acting as muscle, and Yu Feng agreed.
  • Rin Tohsaka admitted she had given Lainis information about Yu Feng in exchange for gemstones from Luvia Edelfelt.
  • Yu Feng followed an artificial fairy’s directions through a tomb, where he fought undead guardians and a Black Dog before a collapse blocked his path.
  • At the Magecraft Workshop, Waver and the others saw the Black Dogs gather into the Wild Hunt around a rainbow-colored gate to the land of fairies.
  • Yu Feng destroyed the spiritual ground, reached the workshop, and stood against the charging Black Dogs as the fairy watched.

Ch. 195Wild Hunt

Yu Feng fought through the Wild Hunt to reach the seven-colored gate and used his left-eye ability to make it begin disappearing. With the gate gone, the Black Dogs vanished and the storm ended, leaving the wasteland quiet.

  • Yu Feng cut down the Black Dogs and decided to approach the gate so he could destroy it with his left-eye ability.
  • The Black Dogs formed a wall to block Yu Feng, but he jumped over it and faced a gigantic Black Dog waiting beyond.
  • Yu Feng severed the giant Black Dog’s foreleg with the Sword of the Pure Knight, then leaped above it and struck its head, destroying it.
  • Shiji Kairi and Waver fought off the other Black Dogs while Yu Feng advanced toward the gate.
  • The fairy said the gate would close within a day, but Yu Feng activated his left-eye ability, making one of its colored halos disappear.
  • The gate vanished, the remaining Black Dogs dwindled away, and the storm cleared over the wasteland.

Ch. 196Heartless

Yu Feng concealed his past from Waver, while Heartless stole Waver’s Holy Relic to summon a Servant and lure him to the Mystic Eye Train. Waver resolved to retrieve Iskandar’s keepsake, as the train’s departure promised a collision involving the Holy Church and the Dead Apostles.

  • Yu Feng told Waver to regard him as someone who had wished for incarnation from the Holy Grail, and Waver agreed to keep his secret confidential.
  • Yu Feng remembered that Heartless had summoned Hephaestion with Waver’s stolen Holy Relic, then learned that the relic had just been stolen again.
  • Gray and Lainis found Waver distressed over the theft, and he decided to go to the Mystic Eye Train to confront whoever had taken the relic.
  • Yu Feng invited Rin Tohsaka to the Mystic Eye Train, but she declined, while he heard that the Dead Apostles and the Holy Church were making moves.
  • Heartless prepared Iskandar’s cloak for a Servant summoning and anticipated Waver’s arrival, along with the presence of the Holy Church and the Dead Apostles.
  • Waver vowed to recover Iskandar’s belongings, and Gray overheard him lamenting that the stolen garment was proof they had fought together.

Ch. 197Fate/strange Fake

Fardius revealed that the United States-backed group behind Snowfield’s False Holy Grail War had infiltrated the Association, while Tiny Cheldek became Gilgamesh’s Master after stopping a mage who had summoned him. Gilgamesh reacted to a distant roar with excitement, and the chapter then introduced Ferrat Escardos, who sought Lord El-Melloi II’s permission to join the war.

  • Fardius disclosed his identity to Rangel, then had a military unit destroy the puppet body and warned the Association that the False Holy Grail War was beginning.
  • A mage used a key as a catalyst to summon Gilgamesh, but Tiny Cheldek cut off the mage’s Command Spell hand and killed him after he attacked her.
  • Tiny explained that she wanted to drive the mages from Snowfield, and Gilgamesh accepted her as his Master and Archer in the six-class war.
  • A distant roar drew Gilgamesh’s attention, and he gave Tiny an elixir before declaring that the conflict had become worthy of his effort.
  • Ferrat Escardos told Lord El-Melloi II that he wanted to participate in the Holy Grail War after secretly overhearing a classified meeting.

Ch. 198Mystic Eye Collection Train Departs, Farewell, Kayneth

Yu Feng and Waver boarded the Mystic Eye Train to investigate the stolen Holy Relic, where Yu Feng negotiated with Olga Marie and encountered several familiar figures. He met Kayneth and Sola in disguise and learned that Cthulhu’s contamination had badly damaged them; Yu Feng believed he might eventually heal Kayneth, while Sola’s cure could require sacrificing her Magic Circuits.

  • Yu Feng, Waver, Gray, and Sumire Ryougi met Olga Marie Animusphere at the station, and Yu Feng offered not to compete for the Astronomy Department’s desired Mystic Eyes in exchange for an introduction to Marisbury.
  • The group boarded the Mystic Eye Train, where they encountered Caleb Frampton of the Holy Church and Yvette, a member of Waver’s classroom.
  • Auctioneer Leondra announced that the Mystic Eye auction would take place in three days, and Yu Feng noticed two hooded passengers who turned out to be Kayneth and Sola.
  • Kayneth revealed that contact with Sola had infected him with Cthulhu’s contamination, and he had come to the train seeking a cure.
  • Yu Feng warned Kayneth and Sola to stay in their room, considered how he might heal them, and sensed someone watching him.

Ch. 199Dead Apostle

  • Yu Feng left his room after hearing a scream and found Theresa's headless corpse being examined by Calebor and Waver.
  • Yu Feng noticed Leondra watching his eyes and left the murder scene without explaining his suspicions.
  • A Dead Apostle ambushed Yu Feng with magecraft attacks, smoke, and a strike against the train floor, but Yu Feng emerged unharmed with the Sword of the Pure Knight.

  • Waver asked Yu Feng what had happened, and Yu Feng challenged Leondra for allowing the Dead Apostle to infiltrate the train.

Ch. 200Demonic Sky Wheel

  • Leondra apologized for allowing a High-Servant Dead Apostle aboard the train and told weaker passengers to stay in their rooms until it was dealt with.
  • At dusk, Waver, Gray, and Yu Feng went to the train's rear, where Hephaestion appeared and challenged them while Gray demanded the return of her master's Holy Relic.
  • Hephaestion revealed her connection to Iskandar, then used her Mystic Eyes and summoned the Demonic Sky Wheel to attack Yu Feng.
  • Yu Feng blocked Hephaestion's charge and countered with the Sword of the Pure Knight, after which Hephaestion and the Demonic Sky Wheel vanished.
  • Waver returned to his room with Gray and Caules to consider Hephaestion's identity, then made Yu Feng come along to keep Olga Marie company.

Ch. 201Child of Fuyuki Forest

Yu Feng tried to treat Kayneth as the Mystic Eye Train entered the Child of Fuyuki Forest, where a group of Dead Apostles appeared. Waver gathered allies to restore the train and find Yu Feng, while Yu Feng remained unaware of the mounting danger; the chapter ended with the passengers facing the forest and its attackers.

  • Yu Feng told Olga Marie that Waver had sent him, and Gray explained their encounters with the High-Servant Dead Apostle and Hephaestion.
  • Olga Marie realized Waver had come aboard to find his Holy Relic and accused Yu Feng of deceiving her, but he reminded her of their contract.
  • Yu Feng entered Kayneth's room to treat him, knocked him unconscious, and began examining him as the train entered the Child of Fuyuki Forest.
  • Three magi tried to burn a path through the forest, but its tentacles killed them, and Waver spotted a group of Dead Apostles outside.
  • Waver and Gray searched for Yu Feng, met Melvin and Father Calebor, and Waver warned them that a group of Dead Apostles, possibly including a High-Servant, threatened the train.
  • Waver proposed that Yu Feng could resolve the crisis, but Yu Feng remained in his room, unaware that the others were looking for him.

Ch. 202Lower-rank Dead Apostles

Yu Feng helped the Mystic Eye Train’s group activate Fuyuki Forest’s spiritual veins, then fought the Dead Apostles who had been targeting the train’s Mystic Eyes. After the forest’s tentacles drove him back to the train, he cured Sola’s Cthulhu infection and learned Kayneth intended to return to the Mage’s Association.

  • Kayneth awoke healed and younger, while Yu Feng told him Sola’s condition would take longer to resolve.
  • Gray brought Yu Feng to Waver’s group, who explained their plan to activate Fuyuki Forest’s spiritual veins and escape.
  • Yu Feng stayed behind as Gray, Yvette, and Calebor left to activate a spiritual vein, then defeated the Lower-rank Dead Apostles who confronted him.
  • Yu Feng fled the forest’s pursuing tentacles and lured them into the Dead Apostles trying to sneak aboard the Mystic Eye Train.
  • Kayneth asked Yu Feng to cure Sola, and Yu Feng spent more than ten hours purging her Cthulhu infection, leaving her alive but unable to use major magecraft.
  • Kayneth thanked Yu Feng and said he would return to the Mage’s Association and use the events aboard the Mystic Eye Train to prove his return.

Ch. 203Bubble of Mystic Eyes (Happy New Year!)

After leaving Kayneth’s room, Yu Feng searched the Mystic Eye Train for the hidden Dead Apostles while Waver investigated Calebor’s case. Yu Feng found no traces and realized he had not checked the passengers’ rooms, leaving him poised to search them next.

  • Yu Feng left Kayneth’s room as evening fell and the Mystic Eye Train returned to its normal route.
  • The manager confiscated Calebor’s Jewel-rank Eyes of the Past, called the Bubble of Mystic Eyes, and Waver temporarily imprisoned Calebor when he could not prove his innocence.
  • Melvin requested that the auction be postponed until midnight, and Waver began investigating the case.
  • Yu Feng searched the train for the hidden Dead Apostles, concerned that they could cause chaos alongside Heartless.
  • After finding no trace of them, Yu Feng realized he had not searched the rooms and suspected the magi might be Dead Apostles in disguise.

Ch. 204The Auction Begins

Yu Feng attended the Mystic Eye Train auction, where Waver interrupted the bidding to reveal his deduction about Theresa Feros’s murder. Waver exposed Heartless, who had impersonated Caules, as the culprit behind the murders and the manipulation of Caleb Frampton.

  • Gray summoned Yu Feng to the auction at Waver’s request, forcing Yu Feng to postpone searching the guest rooms.
  • Waver, Sumire Ryougi, and Yvette competed for the Jewel-ranked Bubble of Mystic Eyes until Yvette bid five hundred and ten million dollars.
  • Waver began investigating Theresa Feros’s death, arguing that the victims’ heads had been kept alive so their Mystic Eyes could be used, and that a hidden talisman had interfered with Calebor’s Mystic Eyes.
  • Yu Feng recognized that Caules was actually Heartless when Theresa’s head’s magical energy enveloped him, and Waver accused him of manipulating Caleb Frampton into killing Theresa.
  • Lainis appeared as the real Caules and confirmed that the impostor had never boarded the train; Waver identified him as Dr. Heartless, the former head of the Department of Modern Magecraft.

Ch. 205Faker

  • Heartless revealed his true appearance, and Waver accused him of funding Yvette and investigating the Holy Grail War with Animusphere.
  • Waver deduced that Heartless had created a subspecies Holy Grail and summoned a Servant to complete his plan, while Heartless identified Yu Feng's hidden future-seeing Mystic Eyes as a threat.
  • Heartless summoned Hephaestion with his Command Spells, and she knocked Sumire Ryougi unconscious; Waver identified her as Faker, Iskandar's double.
  • Leondra opened the Ten Thousand Mystic Eye Vault, and Yvette chose to accept her punishment as Heartless departed with Faker.
  • Dead Apostles appeared in the hall to demand the Mystic Eyes, while Waver, Yu Feng, and Gray caught up with Heartless atop the train and Waver retrieved his Catalyst.
  • Faker explained that she had been born Hephaestion's twin sister and refused Iskandar's attempts to give her a name, then attacked Waver when he asked why she had not joined the Army of the King.
