After Qin unified China, you withdrew to an uninhabited island and began preparing to defy Heaven and change official history. As Qin Shi Huang pursued immortality and searched for you, Yu Meiren and Xu Fu visited the island, then left, while the emperor’s search continued without success.

  • After Qin unified the realm, you found an uninhabited island overseas and sensed that its natural surroundings met your requirements.
  • You created four copies of yourself and sent them to gather materials, build housing, secure food, and establish formations, then vowed to defy Heaven and change official history.

Ch. 270The World Heaven Cannot Tolerate

The change drew the attention of Gaia, Alaya, and Chaldea, while a simulation system announced that the host, Rin Tohsaka, and Shiki Ryougi would be transferred to the abnormality.

  • You placed avatars at key locations and used Mystic Arts: Corpse Life to shield the transformation from the Counter Force and die in your place.

Ch. 271Foreign Land

After foreigners and magical creatures arrived on the island, you abandoned your plan to use the place and killed several of the intruders. One survivor then attacked you from behind with a red-glowing sword.

  • You saw foreigners pursued onto the island by magical creatures and decided the island was no longer safe for your plan.
  • An illusory figure watched you leave and said that an aberration had made continuing there impossible.
  • The five foreigners fled through the forest as the magical creatures chased them, and Tasia said her magic had not recovered.
  • You shot several foreigners with arrows and killed them after asking whether they had checked if the island had an owner.
  • You noticed one foreigner was missing, then the survivor rushed from behind with a red-glowing sword and attacked you.

Ch. 272Leaving, Returning to Qin

You questioned Tasia, a Western woman and novice magic user, after stopping her attack, then left her alive and sailed back toward the Qin Dynasty. After reuniting with Li Si at sea, you felt a strange change in your body and realized your time was running out.

  • You froze Tasia with magic and learned that she and her group had drifted to the island by ship after a storm at sea.
  • You learned that Tasia had only begun studying magic and that the monsters had appeared in nearby waters.
  • You released Tasia after casting a spell on her, then left the island and headed for the Qin Dynasty.

Ch. 273Not Much Time Left

You reunited with Zheng in Xianyang and revealed that your body was fading, leaving you little time. After Zheng died and Qin fell, you appeared once more at his tomb before vanishing again.

  • You met Zheng in the Xianyang royal palace, where he told you about his rule and asked why your plans had failed.
  • You showed Zheng your increasingly illusory arm and explained that summoning physicians would not help.

Ch. 274Shouchun

Yu Feng was transferred with Rin Tohsaka and Shiki Ryougi to the Qin Dynasty, where his Spirit Origins were disrupted and he found himself alone in the ruined Chu Imperial Palace at Shouchun. The chapter ended as a giant serpent emerged from the ruins and Yu Feng confronted it.

  • Yu Feng's Heroic Spirit life simulation ended, and a mechanical voice announced that he, Rin Tohsaka, and Shiki Ryougi would be transferred to an abnormal simulation world.
  • Yu Feng, Rin Tohsaka, and Shiki Ryougi arrived in the Qin Dynasty at the Chu Imperial Palace ruins in Shouchun.
  • The transfer altered Yu Feng's Spirit Origin, reversing Knight Pantaleon and Ai Lian's classes and detaching or sealing several other Spirit Origins.

Ch. 275Fang Jun Li

Yu Feng arrived in a ruined Shouchun, where he discovered his strength had increased and suspected the world might be a Lostbelt. After confronting an archer who mistook him for Qin Zi Xi, Yu Feng learned the man was Fang Xing, courtesy name Jun Li, from the State of Chu.

  • Yu Feng killed a giant serpent with a single slash and wondered whether the world had strengthened him.
  • Yu Feng deflected arrows fired from the shadows and sought to question the hidden archer about the Qin Dynasty and Shouchun.
  • Yu Feng caught the archer as he tried to retreat and asked what had happened to the Qin Dynasty and Shouchun.
  • The archer accused Yu Feng of conquering and destroying the region alongside His Majesty, then calmed down after Yu Feng explained he had just arrived and was not the person he resembled.
  • The archer introduced himself as Fang Xing, courtesy name Jun Li, from the State of Chu.

Ch. 276Chaldea's Visitors

Yu Feng joined Fang Jun Li to investigate the Qin Dynasty after learning Fang had died before reappearing. Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash arrived near the South Sea, lost contact with Chaldea, and were surrounded by demonic beasts until two voices offered to help.

  • Yu Feng learned that Fang Jun Li had died long ago and chose to travel with him to investigate the Qin Dynasty.
  • A white-haired man waited by the South Sea and watched Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash fall from the sky.
  • Mash summoned Lord Camelot to soften their fall, but Ritsuka and Mash landed in the water and swam ashore.

Ch. 277Enkidu! Yu Feng? No! It's a Knight!

Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash reunited with Pantaleon and Enkidu, who explained that the Singularity had drawn demonic beasts from an earlier era and proposed traveling to Xianyang to investigate Emperor Qin Zheng. Meanwhile, figures on an overseas island discussed gathering information on the era’s Servants as one impatient figure left to investigate.

  • Pantaleon and Enkidu rescued Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash from demonic beasts, and Ritsuka mistook Pantaleon for Yu Feng.
  • Mash described the strange Singularity and their lost contact with Chaldea, and Enkidu explained that demonic beasts from thousands of years earlier had crossed into the present.

Ch. 278Gilgamesh! Ai Lian

Gilgamesh and Ai Lian traveled through Qin, where they fought a group of Wyverns and discovered that the Crimson Dragon carried an aura resembling the Counter Force. They suspected the creatures were connected to the dynasty’s anomaly, then rushed toward a distant explosion.

  • Gilgamesh admired the people and customs of Qin, while Ai Lian questioned whether he had changed after visiting the modern era.
  • More than a dozen Wyverns attacked, and Gilgamesh killed most of them with treasures from his golden ripples.
  • Ai Lian pursued and killed the Crimson Dragon after it tried to flee.

Ch. 279Kaede, Shiki! Heretic

Kaede Ryougi and Shiki Ryougi fought two nearly immortal monsters under William Shakespeare’s command, and Kaede attacked Shakespeare with Primal Runes. Shakespeare’s book released ominous magical energy, and a furious voice identified Kaede as a heretic.

  • Shiki Ryougi failed to see the monsters’ death lines and was thrown back, while Shakespeare explained that their deaths had been transplanted onto another object.

Gilgamesh arrived above the battlefield and watched as Kaede Ryougi and Shiki Ryougi fought two monsters. Kaede prepared a Rune Magic trap and told Shiki to retreat as he activated it.

  • Gilgamesh appeared on Vimana, and Shakespeare recognized him before withdrawing from the battle.
  • Gilgamesh watched Kaede Ryougi and Shiki Ryougi fight the two monsters instead of intervening.

Ch. 281Why Does This Person Look So Much Like Me?

Kaede Ryougi used Rune Magic to trap the two shadowy monsters in a reinforced stone cube, drawing Gilgamesh’s attention to his unusual magecraft and Shiki Ryougi’s connection to the Root. When Ai Lian arrived and discovered that she and Kaede looked nearly identical, strange memories surfaced in both of their minds, leaving their connection unexplained but newly recognized.

  • Kaede Ryougi reinforced the surrounding rocks with Rune Magic and sealed the two shadowy monsters inside a massive cube.
  • Gilgamesh studied Kaede Ryougi’s unusual magecraft and noticed the Root’s aura around Shiki Ryougi.

Ch. 282"Damn it, where the hell are you?"

Ai Lian met Kaede Ryougi and Shiki Ryougi, and the two men recognized the strange connection between them. When Kaede said they were headed to Xianyang, Ai Lian realized they were bound for the same destination, leaving both to wonder where a certain person was.

  • Gilgamesh prompted Ai Lian to react to meeting Kaede Ryougi, but Ai Lian dismissed their identical appearance as coincidence or distant kinship.

Himuro Kenshin was saved from Cursed Arm by three reinforcements, and the two sides prepared to fight. The newcomers chose their opponents, leaving Himuro to face the Berserker again.

  • Several unfamiliar figures appeared and knocked Himuro Kenshin out of the way of a dangerous attack.
  • Himuro Kenshin identified the newcomers as possible allies, while Cursed Arm challenged them and threatened to kill them all.
