Although Daigo and Lina strongly requested to take part in the investigation of the Luluye Ruins, Commander Munakata rejected their request.
"Commander, why?"
Commander Munakata patted Daigo on the shoulder and said earnestly, "Daigo, you've fought far too many times. But you're no longer Ultraman. You're just a human now. We can't let you keep fighting."
Commander Munakata looked at Lina again. "Don't forget that you have Lina now, and the two of you are getting married soon.
"Leave the captain's matter to us. As long as the captain is still alive, we'll definitely bring her back."
Commander Munakata had already put it that plainly, so Daigo had no reason to object any further. He glanced at Lina, feeling somewhat sorry toward her.

Yulian did not appear. She merely projected an image.
The image showed the ruins of the Super Ancient Civilization, as well as the three Dark Giants—Camilla, Darram, and Hudra. Then Dark Tiga emerged from the shadows.
It was almost identical to the scene Daigo had seen in his dreams. The next second, however, both the light screen and the time machine vanished instantly.
In their place, Daigo saw Camilla, Darram, and Hudra standing before him.
"Who are you?"
"Do you remember now, Tiga?"
"Friend, it's been a long time."
Though Darram and Hudra called him a friend, they had already launched attacks on Daigo.
