Heavenly Sword Mountain

Central Region of Canglan, Heavenly Sword Mountain.

This sacred land of sword cultivators could be divided into twelve regions from bottom to top.

Yet aside from the Sword-Proving Cliff at the summit, only two places drew the most attention.

The first was the Valley of Heart Questioning, located in the first region at the foot of the mountain.

It was a place where sword cultivators from all sides came to worship, seek the Dao, and discuss the sword. Regardless of cultivation realm or attainments in the sword Dao, anyone who practiced the sword could come here.

The second place was called Sharpening Peak Ground, located in the sixth region at the waist of Heavenly Sword Mountain.

There were forty-eight Sword Washing Stones there, each differing in size, shape, and material.

These treasures for tempering the sword Dao could be used to forge swords and temper one's heart, bringing enormous benefits to sword cultivators.

But reaching this place was no easy matter.

The twelve regions of Heavenly Sword Mountain each required one to undergo a trial.

With Sharpening Peak Ground as the dividing line, the trials of the lower six regions differed from those of the upper six, testing two separate things.

The first six regions had nothing to do with a sword cultivator's cultivation realm. They looked only at talent and comprehension in the sword Dao.

Thus, even someone at the lowly First Level of Qi Gathering could ascend to the sixth region of Heavenly Sword Mountain, provided their talent and comprehension were outstanding enough, and obtain the opportunity to temper their sword body and Sword Heart at Sharpening Peak Ground.
