Rumble!
Suddenly, a sound that shattered the heavens and split the earth exploded across the world. Countless living beings had their eardrums ruptured and instantly lost consciousness.
At that moment, Heaven and Earth began to shift, falling out of alignment.
The entire ocean sank inward in a single breath, as though the weight of the existence above had "sucked" the seawater toward the sky.
Then it erupted in reverse. Walls of water ten thousand fathoms high surged up without direction, crashing down in every direction and wiping coastal cities flat along with their mountain ranges.
The earth let out agonized screams.
Mountain ranges seemed caught in an invisible hand. Peaks twisted and snapped, entire mountain systems shifted sideways, and rifts yawned open. Bottomless darkness churned up from underground, while magma was forcibly snuffed out by the power pressing down from above before it could even erupt.
Deserts rose into the air.
Billions upon billions of grains of sand were torn from the ground and suspended in midair. Then, driven by some invisible breath, they formed gray storms spanning thousands of miles. Wherever they passed, the outlines of cities were stripped away in the wind, like paintings being erased.
Forests fell flat in vast swaths.
They pressed against the ground in the same direction all at once. Trunks burst, branches and leaves turned to dust, and birds had their flesh crushed into mist before they could flap their wings.
Mortals did not even get the chance to flee.
Crowds running through the streets suddenly collapsed, never to rise again. Mothers holding their children beneath the eaves could not even cry out before thin streams of blood slowly seeped from their eyes, ears, noses, and mouths.
Entire cities still seemed frozen in the posture of life going on as usual.
But in
