Meanwhile, the Immortal Alliances’ conflict drove allies and races toward rebellion and the Desolate Heaven Domain, while strange memories surfaced during Chen Xun’s cultivation.

• Chen Xun and Big Black Ox intervened in the battle at the Slaying Immortal Ancient Domain, rescued the Five Elements Sect disciples, and brought them home while Chen Xun confronted Ye Qingyou.
• Chen Xun and Big Black Ox thanked the Three-Eyed Ancient Immortal Race for protecting the survivors, and Chen Xun learned from the Three-Eyed Emperor why the race had aided humanity and how the Immortal Alliances had started the war.
• The Three-Eyed Emperor outlined the three steps toward immortality and granted Chen Xun and Big Black Ox access to Extinguishing Divine Ridge.
• The Nine Heavens Immortal Alliance issued warrants for Chen Xun and Ximen, while the Five Great Sects and other allies evacuated toward the Desolate Heaven Domain and the Three-Eyed Ancient Immortal Race defended the seas.
• Yun XiHan left the Cloud Race with Yun Shao’s group, while the Blood-Clad Immortal King warned Tian Li that forces were plotting against Chen Xun and departed for his final journey.

Chen Xun and Big Black Ox returned to the Desolate Heaven Domain, reunited with old friends, and entered the Ancient Immortal Realm, where they received Burial’s Life and Death inheritance. Through the Ancient Immortal’s memories, Chen Xun learned Burial’s history and followed his path into the Desolate Star Sea to seek immortality as war and upheaval spread across the Great Worlds.

• Chen Xun completed his breakthrough and returned with Big Black Ox to the Jade Bamboo Mountain Range, where he announced the Five Elements Sect would rebuild and ended his feud with Jiao Zhenhai’s clan.
• Chen Xun and Big Black Ox reunited with Qionghua Shuiyu and Demon Moon before leaving the sect’s affairs to its four branches and heading for the Ancient Immortal Realm.
• At the Ancient Immortal Realm, Chen Xun and Big Black Ox broke through its restrictions, performed funeral rites for the Ancient Immortal, and gained Burial’s Word Art and its Life and Death power.
• While Chen Xun and Big Black Ox cultivated among the Top-Grade Spirit Stones, Shi Rongxian seized the origins of the Nine Great Worlds and used World in a Painting to trap its inhabitants.
• Chen Xun extracted the Ancient Immortal’s Life Essence and relived its memories, learning how Yu Mi became Burial, protected the Taiyi Great World, and attained the Dao in the Desolate Star Sea.

Chen Xun returned to the Heavenly River, defeated Ye Qingyou, and learned the truth behind Shi Rong’s choices before Shi Rong died. Chen Xun sacrificed his Dao to save the realms, then reunited with old friends as his cultivation fell to Qi Condensation Stage.

• Shi Rongxian led the Realm Myriad Spirits against Boundless, and after years of war, Chen Xun arrived with allies from across the Great Worlds.
• Chen Xun fought the Ten Thousand Clans’ immortals, then accepted their terms to suppress the realm sources and end the war.
• Chen Xun defeated Ye Qingyou, and Shi Rong admitted he had ordered the destruction of Chen Xun’s realm to draw danger away from the younger generation.
• Shi Rong revealed his true name as Ying Zhiyi and died in the Shi Rong Realm with Gu Yuexi beside him.
• Ji Yan took control of the Nine Heavens Immortal Alliance, while Chen Xun sacrificed his Dao and suppressed the sources of the Heaven-opening realms.

The arc left Chen Xun and Big Black Ox sharing a peaceful reunion with Demon Moon before returning to the Five Elements Sect.

• Chen Xun explained that he had used the Heavenly River Battle and the threat of turmoil as leverage to protect his family and secure compensation from the Boundless Myriad Races.
• Chen Xun learned that Ji Yan had invested the Garbage Recycling Plant’s proceeds and taken on debt, then reassured his family that the business remained profitable.
• An Ominous Creature asked to follow Chen Xun, who sent it with Big Black Ox to guard the Five Elements Dao Field.
