Ayato confronted Askin, whose Deathdealing ability let him survive devastating injuries and become immune to Ayato’s Reishi-based attacks. Ayato used his sword and spatial powers to overcome that immunity and collapsed the space around Askin, swallowing him as the battle reached its end.

• Ayato explained that Amenominaka had created their temporary battlefield and revealed how he had deduced the limits of Askin’s Deathdealing ability.
• Ayato struck Askin with Annihilation, and Askin survived by activating Vollständig: Gift Ball and using his ability to lower the lethal dose of his injuries.
• Ayato followed with Heaven-Burning, but Askin recovered and declared himself immune to Ayato’s Reishi-based attacks.
