Background and History

The sect traces its lineage to Ning Rongrong, the Nine-Colored Goddess. Its predecessor, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, was once the world’s second greatest sect, but Spirit Hall destroyed Seven Treasures City ten thousand years ago. The sect later rebuilt on the site and named its new home Nine Treasures City 2 80.

For ten thousand years, each generation sent a direct-line disciple to Shrek Academy for training and talent recruitment; that disciple would eventually lead the sect. Ning Tian, Ning Fengya’s only child, inherited this responsibility 2 42. Despite the sect’s name, Ning Rongrong’s Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda had not been passed down: its direct line continued to possess the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda 227.

The sect’s long rivalry with the Body Sect grew out of a clash involving its guardian Jian Mu Douluo Zhou JiRen. Body Sect attacks subsequently damaged its commercial interests, while its leaders feared a greater assault if Zhou JiRen died 80 83 247. After Ling Bai helped eradicate the Body Sect, he returned to a hero’s welcome at Nine Treasures City 277.
