Ch. 263Burying Dragons
Tang Wulin chose to remain in Dragon Valley and bury its dragon bones, despite learning that the collapsed spatial passage meant he could not return after leaving. As he worked, he discovered his strength had increased enormously, and the dragon souls began providing him with energy each day.
- Tang Wulin learned from the Water-Fire Dragon Kings that the passage out of Dragon Valley had collapsed and decided to stay and bury the dragon bones.
- Tang Wulin tested his newfound strength by punching a pit more than ten meters deep, then began burying dragon skeletons by himself.
- Tang Wulin spent several days digging pits and burying dragons, refusing to take the soul bones from their skeletons.
- On the sixth day, a dragon soul emerged from a skeleton and merged into Tang Wulin, replenishing his energy.
- Afterward, dragon souls appeared each day to provide Tang Wulin with energy, and he gradually adapted to his increased strength.
