The next day, Shrek Academy's team arrived at Star Luo Plaza once more.
They looked relaxed, but Zhengtian Academy was the complete opposite. Both its students and teachers wore dead expressions.
It was not as though they had never faced Shrek in an Individual Elimination Match before. Back then, Huo Yutong had taken them down one against four. If they sent out a few Soul Ancestors to test the waters again, they might not even be able to deal with a single Huo Yutong.
So there was no need to say it—they would be sending out their only three Soul Kings this time. They had no other choice.
Yet Shrek Academy's chosen contestant was rather unexpected.
"Shrek Academy, Tang Wulin."
Looking at the handsome youth before him, Tang Xiaolei felt caught completely off guard.
They had considered the possibility of Shrek sending out Tang Wulin. After all, Tang Wulin was one of the few current Shrek Academy contestants capable of fighting a Soul King one-on-one.

Normally, after one side announced their name in an Individual Elimination Match, the other side should respond as well. It was a matter of courtesy. Failing to do so did not violate any rules, but it would make Zhengtian Academy seem utterly lacking in manners.
Hearing the referee's voice, Tang Xiaolei finally snapped back to his senses and hurriedly announced his name as well.
