End of volume thoughts
The First Competition Arc has finally come to an end!
Writing it really left me mentally and physically exhausted. It was fine at the beginning, but later on, every time I wrote, I had to rack my brains to come up with something new. My brain was practically burning out.
This volume was probably the one where our male protagonist, Tang Wulin, was pushed most to the sidelines. After all, the theme was competition, so there was little time or room for this young couple to fall in love. His strength was not particularly outstanding either, and Dai Yueheng, who filled the same role, was still above him, holding him down. That made it impossible for his presence to rise.
There was nothing to be done about that. The First Competition Arc still needed some sense of oppression. Three rings Yutong was already very strong to begin with. If Wulin's strength were raised too much, it would really turn into an unrivaled game for the two of them.
In the upcoming Training Arc, Tang Wulin will finally begin to develop in earnest. Like Lao Huo, three rings Wulin will undergo a qualitative transformation. Not only in strength, but his career and love life will also achieve great success, and he will completely set out on the path of Long Aotian.
Speaking of Long Aotian, I am currently planning to have this character make an appearance in the next arc. After all, if he does not show up soon, Wulin will be hanging him up and beating him senseless in the second competition. By then, all his cool factor will be gone. (laughs)
The next arc is called the Training Arc. As the name suggests, it is an arc meant to train the male protagonist, Tang Wulin.
