End of volume thoughts
The Second Competition Arc had come to an end as well. The two key points of this volume were undoubtedly Sea God's Fate and Debate Valley.
Sea God's Fate had brought the two of them fully together, while Debate Valley had set the stage for Filial Piety.
After giving it some thought, I cut a lot of the more wickedly humorous scenes from the Debate Valley plot. It ended up being about half as long as planned. After all, even this version had already left plenty of readers grinding their teeth in anger. Any more, and it would have become a serious turnoff.
The next arc was the War Arc. Just as the name suggested, it would mainly cover the war against the Sun Moon Empire.
This end of volume thoughts was originally supposed to be written when the previous volume was finished, but after the ten-update streak ended, it was too late and I was too sleepy, so I put it off until before today's update.
