The book goes premium tonight at seven.
Honestly, writing this book has been brutal on my mindset. At first, I nearly failed to get a contract for it—I signed on the second-to-last day of cross-review. Later, my own idiotic mistakes caused my traffic to drop sharply. The reader group for my previous book still has records of my emotional breakdowns.
With all these factors piling up, even though I put far more care into this book than the last one, and I'm confident its quality is better, its results are nearly half as good.
The reason I've managed to keep going is partly because of the promise I made in the first chapter—"If it gets contracted, I'll keep writing"—and partly because of all your support.

It was your support that allowed me to keep writing this book when everyone around me was advising me to give up.
As I said in the first chapter, I wrote this book because of a post by Lady Huo Douluo on Tieba. His idea actually wasn't quite the same as mine—his was to gender-swap every character in Douluo Dalu 2. Since I don't have the imagination or writing ability to handle that kind of premise, I can only hope that big-shot author starts writing it soon.
As for those who say this book feels much better
