A sharp longsword fiercely stabbed into Alex's back, then pierced through his body and emerged from his chest. Blood flowed down the gleaming, cold longsword, a blinding red.
Everyone was stunned. Steve and the others were stunned. Natasha, watching the battle from the train's head via camera, was stunned. Even Baron Strucker was momentarily taken aback, then burst into wild laughter. The owner of the longsword also grew excited. Unable to speak, he could only express his inner ecstasy through his wildly trembling body.
"You think you can kill me like this, Baron Zemo?" Upon seeing the mask on the newcomer's head, Alex immediately recognized Baron Zemo, the man he'd thrown into Super Glue before. "Since Super Glue couldn't kill you, die again!" Alex snorted coldly. The dagger in his hand swiftly reversed, and before Baron Zemo could react, he fiercely plunged it into his eye socket, quick, accurate, and ruthless.
Baron Zemo clearly hadn't anticipated this. Caught off guard, he was immediately hit. However, he was also ruthless, showing no reaction at all. The longsword in his hand suddenly twisted, and the intense pain made Alex cry out in agony.
Although Alex had Logan's powerful regeneration and didn't care about his injuries, the pain from this move was unbearable. "I bought a watch last year!"
After a curse, Alex also became fierce. He thrust the dagger forward, the blade sinking in completely. A series of muffled groans came from Baron Zemo's throat.
As Alex and Zemo fought fiercely, Steve and the others rushed forward anxiously. Seeing this, Baron Strucker raised his Heavy Cannon, intending to fire over Alex and Zemo, who were entangled, and shoot.
Alex saw this, shifted his body, and flicked the dagger in his hand, hard enough to bend Zemo's body. Zemo happened to collide with the muzzle of the Heavy Cannon, causing the muzzle to deflect. The energy blast that flew out missed its intended target and struck the train wall not far away, creating another large hole.
A gust of strong wind rushed in, causing the bodies of the three to sway slightly.
Seeing Steve and the others about to charge, Strucker decisively dropped the Heavy Cannon in his hand, pushed off with his feet, and retreated a few steps, separating himself from Alex and Zemo. He then leaped high like a Flying Eagle Pouncing on Rabbit, charging towards Steve and the others.
Watching Strucker leap down, Steve's eyes narrowed. He raised his shield slightly, blocking above his head. With a muffled grunt, Steve couldn't help but stumble back a few steps, his arm also feeling slightly numb, indicating the immense strength Strucker possessed.
Logan roared, clenching his fists. A pair of Bone Claws slowly extended, and he looked at Strucker opposite him with full alertness.
Strucker casually patted his shoulder, glanced at Logan sideways, and said with a cold smile, "Actually, I should thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have my current abilities!"
"Pah!" Logan spat, tilting his head slightly. "I'd like to see whose hide is thicker, yours or my claws?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Logan immediately charged forward like a ferocious wolf.
Logan's Bone Claws were indeed powerful, not inferior to swords, but Strucker was now impervious to blades and spears. Even the dagger in Alex's hand couldn't harm him, let alone Logan's Bone Claws. Therefore, Strucker didn't pay them any mind.
The reality was just as Strucker had thought. Logan's Bone Claws landed on him repeatedly, but they couldn't leave even a scratch, much less injure him.
Logan couldn't do anything to Strucker, and Strucker couldn't do anything to Logan either. Both were skilled fighters; one was invulnerable, and the other possessed powerful regeneration. They exchanged blows for dozens of rounds, yet neither sustained a single injury.
Here, Logan and Strucker were locked in a fierce battle, while Alex and Zemo were nearing a conclusion.
Ultimately, Zemo, being just an ordinary person, couldn't withstand Alex, who possessed powerful regeneration and a Super Soldier Physique. After holding on for a few minutes, he finally reached his limit.
Knowing he was doomed, a cold glint flashed in Zemo's one remaining good eye. With strength he seemed to conjure from nowhere, he released his longsword, tightly gripped Alex's arms with both hands, and with a powerful lunge, he jumped off the broken opening, taking Alex with him. Below them was a bottomless cliff.
The two were now entangled. If Teleportation were used, both would be transported. Alex didn't mind taking Zemo back onto the train. However, Zemo kept resisting the teleportation, which left Alex very frustrated!
"Damn it, if you want to die, don't drag me with you!" Alex couldn't help but curse, struggling hard to break free from Zemo. Unfortunately, the dying Zemo possessed immense strength, and Alex couldn't break free.
On the train, after a long time without Alex returning, Steve became anxious. He quickly abandoned Logan and Strucker, who were still fighting, and rushed to the window. Seeing Alex and Zemo rapidly falling, his expression changed dramatically.
Meanwhile, at the front of the train, Natasha couldn't help but feel a pang of fear. She couldn't see Alex's situation and could only guess from Steve's expression. Seeing Steve's expression, Natasha's face also changed greatly. Just as she was about to rush out to save them, she suddenly noticed Zola had somehow crawled up from the ground, holding something like a controller in his hand.
"What do you want?"
Zola wiped the blood from his face and smiled slightly, saying, "Do you know why this train is called the Death Train?" Before Natasha could speak, Zola chuckled again. "This train is packed with explosives. If I press this switch, boom, the entire train will instantly turn into fragments, and everyone will die!"
"You wouldn't sacrifice yourself too," Natasha said, while secretly reaching for her wristband. "Speak, what do you want?"
Zola shook his head and chuckled softly, "I won't die, but you all will..."
"I've had enough of you people!" Just then, Alex suddenly appeared. A streak of Black Lightning flashed, slicing through Zola's wrist, and the controller fell to the ground.
A beam immediately shot out from Natasha's wristband, binding Zola to the ground, unable to move.
"Keep an eye on him, I'll go deal with the other guy!" Alex merely showed his face for a moment before disappearing again, returning to the previous carriage.
Seeing two bloody arms hanging from Alex's shoulders, Steve was slightly stunned. "Alex, you..."
Alex gave a wry smile and shouted to Logan, "Logan, get out of the way, I'll handle him!"
Logan didn't hesitate and immediately stepped aside. He trusted Alex unconditionally.
Strucker glanced at Alex's peculiar appearance, his heart skipping a beat, feeling a sense of dread.
Alex chuckled, stepped forward, grabbed Strucker, and instantly vanished.
Outside the train, thousands of meters in the air, Alex smiled at Strucker. "Don't you guys like to play? I'll play with you properly!" As he spoke, the two plummeted rapidly.
Looking at the smile on Alex's face, Strucker clearly felt it was the smile of a demon!
