"Is this your composite Rule Body?"

Ulysses looked at the enormous Rune model before him, so intricate it resembled a Star River, and could not help feeling awestruck.

This thing was far more complex than their Dual Divine Body.

"More or less." Richard looked at the Rune model with a hint of pride. "This model still has plenty of room for simplification. But it already possesses everything a composite Rule Body should have.

There's no problem using it as a Rule Body."

Ulysses examined the Rune model closely. The longer he looked, the more dazzled he became, until he had no choice but to look away.

"Caw, the gap between civilizations truly is enormous. This thing of yours is much more complicated than ours. How will you advance? Force a life leap through this composite Rule Body, or use it as support and advance through a ritual?"

Richard nodded slightly. "A direct leap, though there will also be a ritual to help me complete the Rule Body. But before that, I need to complete the rules."

Richard's Rule Body was not built upon the Radiation Rule, but upon the Life Rule, which was better suited to physical evolution. Yet Richard's Life Rule was incomplete, so he still had to complete it before advancing to a Five-Ring Great Wizard.

Completing the rule was simple for Richard. Among the magical treasures in the Supreme Sect's treasury, several happened to contain the Life Rule. With a little refinement through the Miracle Furnace, his rule could be completed.

"Caw, then what about your spiritual power?" Ulysses suddenly thought of a problem. "You aren't following spiritual evolution. With a weak body, you can just set it aside and wait for it to slowly feed you back.
