Dimensional Travel

After leaving the Divine Palace Laboratory, Richard found Ulysses basking in the sun.

Even after recovering his strength, the raven still loved sunbathing.

"Did you find the things?"

Ulysses opened his eyes and replied leisurely, "I found most of them, but for a few, we'll probably have to make the trip ourselves."

"What do you mean?"

"Caw, isn't that obvious? They aren't available. You'll have to apply to the home base for them."

Ulysses took flight and landed on Richard's left shoulder.

"The things you need aren't simple. Some of them simply aren't substances that can exist in the Material World. We'll have to mine them in other dimensional worlds ourselves."

After saying that, Ulysses cast Richard a suspicious glance.

"Didn't you look over this list?"

"Ahem, well... I didn't look at it too closely." Richard coughed twice, sounding a little embarrassed.

He truly had not examined the list closely. After all, the ritual was merely an aid. Even without it, he could still advance to become a Five-Ring Great Wizard; it would only be far more difficult.

"Caw, you really are carefree." Ulysses said helplessly. "What you did already counts as leaking secrets."

Richard's gaze flickered, and he smiled. "I think my subordinate god is someone who can keep his mouth shut. What do you think?"

"Caw, your subordinate god thinks you're absolutely right." Ulysses rolled his eyes at him. "But he still has to remind you to observe the principles of secrecy. Other people won't be as reliable as he is."

With that, Ulysses swiped a Raven Claw through the air and took out a scroll from a Spatial Rift. The scroll listed several materials and their corresponding dimensions. Richard took it and found that there were quite a few things he needed.
