Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, three years had passed.

Over those three years, Richard's control over his own strength had nearly reached perfection, and the fusion of the Composite Rule Body had begun. Construction of the second Floating City and the retraining of the Werewolf Legion were both proceeding in an orderly fashion.

Once the second Floating City was complete, the second Glorious Expedition would begin.

"This is your surprise?"

At the Floating City Research Institute, Richard stared at the machine before him. It stood nearly four stories tall and occupied an area roughly the size of a plaza, leaving him stunned for a moment.

As early as a century ago, Richard had learned that the Floating City Research Institute was developing a device that could assist with research, intending to present it to him as a surprise. But after a hundred years of research, Richard had long since put the matter out of his mind. It was not until an hour ago, when Anson asked him to visit the Floating City Research Institute and inspect their latest machine, that he remembered it.

To Richard's senses, this machine was both a machine and a living creature. Its four sides were wrapped in enchanted metal plates, making it look exceptionally neat and orderly. Yet beneath those metal plates, Richard sensed an immense life energy, its density even surpassing the scope of a Third-level creature.

At the same time, Richard could sense the ordinary energy circulation concealed beneath that life energy. A large portion of its ordinary energy circulation operated independently of the rest—an unmistakable mechanical characteristic.

"Yes, Our Lord. This is the fourth-generation Flesh and Blood Computer we created."

Pride filled Anson's face. This machine was the ultimate product they had refined over a century.
