"Ri... Richard, do we still have to deal with this thing ourselves?"
Looking at the enormous eye beyond the rift, Ulysses could barely get his words out.
Unless that enormous eye belonged to some creature like an eye monster, it was undoubtedly a World Dominator.
He should have thought of it sooner. How could such a large world possibly lack an Astral Dominator?
Richard stared at the eye, his body shaking like chaff in a sieve. His body was terrified. The life-form beyond the Spatial Rift surpassed him by far; he had absolutely no chance of survival.
But his body's fear did not taint Richard's mind.
As a wizard, overcoming one's instincts was a fundamental quality.
"Ulysses, run."
Richard stared at the enormous eye. Under the command of his mental power, the mana within him began to circulate madly.
That enormous creature had yet to enter the world, so he was not at a dead end yet. As long as he could perfectly mobilize his strength, he had at least a fifty percent chance of surviving and a ten percent chance of escaping unscathed.
But such an escape was meaningless.
Once the Dominator entered this world, as long as he remained in it, he would die no matter where he went.
"Hah, an Astral Dominator. What a tremendous discovery. A Large World might possess a Dominator-level World Guardian. I really hope they mention my name when they put this in the books."
Richard's mind was highly focused, energy surging through his body like rivers.
Spatial methods were clearly unsuitable at this stage. The only thing he could rely on was pure speed—speed like a streak of light.
Suddenly, a spatial tremor erupted from the rift where the eye lay.
The several-thousand-meter-long rift began to shake, and the space around it
