"Caw? Richard, what are you doing?"
Having sensed the sharp drain on Faith Power, Ulysses walked in and immediately saw Richard using a Miracle.
Under Richard's control, the dense Faith Power gradually took the shape of a humanoid figure.
More precisely, it became a body identical to his own.
Twisting reality was an extremely useful ability, but that did not mean it could ignore all reason and logic.
The more complex an object was, the greater the cost of twisting it into existence.
However, this restriction applied only to deep twisting—creating a permanent twisted object.
If it was merely a superficial twist, such as making a piece of iron look and feel like gold without altering its underlying structure—
Then the cost of the twist had nothing to do with the object's complexity, only its size.
"I'm using a Miracle to simulate a body for myself," Richard replied, turning his head.
"Simulate your own body? What are you planning to do?"
"Feed Eldridge, and sharpen my own skills while I'm at it."
"Feed him? Eldridge is already awake?"
Only after Richard said so did Ulysses notice Eldridge in the distance, constantly changing the shape of his body.
"I don't quite understand," Ulysses said, slightly puzzled. "If you want to create a clone, why not simply proliferate flesh? Using a Miracle is far too wasteful of Faith Power."
The cost of Richard creating a body was even greater than the cost of using a Divine Word Spell to restrain a sixth-level creature.
The water in their pool of Faith Power was pouring away in torrents.
Yet Richard did not rush to explain. Instead, he sped up the movements of his hands.
As they spoke, the body beside Richard twisted into shape. It was not large, only ten meters tall, but the
