Purifying the Furnace

"Purify it? My friend, you're getting a little full of yourself."

Hearing Richard's thoughts, Ulysses's eyes filled with astonishment.

"That Furnace is conservatively estimated to have the strength of Level Six. Why should two Level Fives go provoking it? Even with your Furnace, there's no guarantee of safety."

"Hey, you said yourself that the Furnace is trapped in the formation." Richard sneered. "We're only going over there. At most, it can send out a Fire Spirit to harass us. If you're scared, you can leave first. Once I've purified that Furnace, we'll meet up in the third space."
