A giant hand burst from the earth, stirring up a faint energy breeze.
Then the ground split apart, and a massive body slowly sat up from beneath the soil.
"...That was a really comfortable sleep."
Richard shook his head, flinging the dirt from his hair. Then he rose to his feet, pulling his entire body free of the earth.
Richard looked at the drastically changed surroundings and stroked the thick beard that had grown on his chin.
"Looks like I slept for quite a while."
After briefly sensing his body, a flicker of delight crossed Richard's face.
"I've integrated this much already?"
After years of slumber, Richard's life core had not only fixed its bug—it had integrated much more besides.
Richard's bloodline integration had now reached ninety-five percent.
It was like a puzzle with only the final few pieces remaining. He merely needed to carry out a little Life Editing, and the bloodline integration progress would leap to the final stage.
Then the bloodline would be fully integrated.
"But why did I wake up at this point?"
A trace of confusion flashed through Richard's heart. At his current rate of integration, he should have awakened several years later, after completing the bloodline integration.
After all, he had not encountered the slightest bottleneck. Everything was progressing smoothly. There was no reason for him to awaken from his slumber.
Drawing upon his authority, Richard contacted Ulysses, who was far away in the Goblin World.
"Ulysses, how long did I sleep?"
Hearing Richard's voice suddenly ring out beside him, Ulysses, who had been basking in the sun atop the Miracle Church, abruptly took flight.
"Caw! My goodness, you actually woke up."
Richard's brow furrowed slightly. "What do you mean, I actually woke up?"
Ulysses paused for a moment
