In the Void, the mountain-sized World Tree swayed its branches. Centered on him, a domain resembling an entire world stretched across a radius of half a Fleeting Light second.
Within the domain, snowy mountains, deserts, peaks, and oceans were all present, along with every kind of bird, beast, insect, and fish.
The World Tree stood at the center of this world. Every sway of his branches caused the vast domain to tremble as though heaven and earth were shaking.
Before him, the Dominator of Netherworld resembled a vicious ghost, with black veins covering nearly half his body. With every gesture, crimson blades slashed through the Void, each one capable of cleaving apart a miniature world.
On his other side stood the Wraith Dominator, as large as a mountain and covered in countless arms.
Compared to Netherworld, Wraith's fighting style was far more frenzied. The arms on his body surged like waves, and with every surge, tens of thousands of attacks of different natures erupted at once.
Gathered together, these attacks were as unstoppable as a mountain flood, as though they could tear apart everything in the world.
Yet the World Tree remained unmoving as a mountain.
Wraith was merely a puppet that had temporarily broken through, while Netherworld could only contend with him in his prime.
And now, Netherworld was resisting that corruption. Being able to exert even half his strength was already something to thank the heavens for.
But unmoving as he was, the Great World Tree had little ability to counterattack.
His body was incomplete. He was only a Tree Spirit, equivalent to a living being's soul. His physical body had not come with him to the Astral Realm.
