"Oh? Looks like I arrived at just the right time."
Richard raised a brow beneath his hood and casually drew the Eyeball Demon Dominator to his side.
"Friend, I happen to be the person you're looking for. You can call me the Miracle Wizard."
"I know. The priests gave us your image."
The Eyeball Demon Dominator was immensely excited. Though he was not restricted, this was undoubtedly fate smiling upon them.
Otherwise, why would Richard appear at his most desperate moment?
"That saves me quite a bit of trouble." A flicker of delight appeared on Richard's face. "Then what should I call you, and what should I call your people?"
"We are the Eyeball Demon Clan. You may call me Antiochus."
"Son of Stars? A fine name."
Richard and Antiochus communicated through spiritual messages. In the language of the Eyeball Demons, Antiochus meant Son of Stars.
"Very well, Antiochus. You said you came to seek aid. What is your current situation?" Richard asked solemnly.
"Not very optimistic." A trace of grief flashed through Antiochus's eyes. "At first, things were fine. Relying on the priests' prophecies, we prepared defensive measures in advance.
"Though the storm blocked our path, holding out was never a problem.
"But some time ago, that monster's attacks suddenly became far fiercer. The Dominators under Its command grew drastically stronger. We were caught completely off guard, and two elders were seriously injured."
"How many Dominators do you have?" Richard continued.
"Including the three fallen priests, there were nine in total."
"So there are six left now."
"No, no, there are still nine." Antiochus denied it. "Though the priests died, their Paths remain. It is just that those who inherited those Paths are somewhat weak. It takes three of them to contend with one opponent."
"That's good." Richard nodded
