Wukong rescued Yuwen Chunqiu from the Howl Demon’s corpse poison and discovered that the demon was the transformed body of a Corpse King sealed inside Nine-Dragon Mountain’s Demon Cavern. After Wukong and Yuwen reached the cavern’s outer grounds, Chang Yuezi attacked Wuma Fang and Tan Yufeng, and Yuwen tried to calm Wuma Fang.

• Wukong used a pill made from Fu Henghua’s blood essence and the Five-Dragon Wheel Scripture to purge Yuwen Chunqiu’s corpse poison and restore him.
• Yuwen told Wukong how he and Chang Yuezi had encountered the Howl Demon near the Golden Court, and Wukong recognized that the demon was confined within the fourth peak of Nine-Dragon Mountain.
