Ch. 835Aftermath
After the Dragon-Slaying War, Fu Henghua mourned the dead and organized the succession, rewards, and relief for Yan Shui’s battered sects and families. He then revealed plans to reshape the submerged waters into a ring of islands and establish a five-isle system of shared governance.
- Tribulation Immortals debated the cost of the Dragon King's death and saw Fu Henghua seal Yan Shui for thirty years in remembrance of the fallen.
- Fu Henghua arrived at the Coiling Dragon Golden Hall, where the gathered representatives accepted him as the Fu Family's acting patriarch and mourned the dead.
- Fu Henghua verified the succession documents, promised rewards for those who fought the dragon, and proposed a shared fund to support the families of the dead and injured.
- Fu Henghua reassured the representatives that island defenses and grain depots protected their people, then proposed raising the islands and joining them into a ring-shaped continent around freshwater marshes.
- Fu Henghua explained that Yan Shui had become a Dragon-Abandoned Land, making dragon-breeding there impractical, and proposed five Immortal Ascension Isles with a system he called Five-Isle Co-Governance.
