Bruh, screw honor. I still think his cultivation and techniques should have increased another level. Did the author suddenly increase the difficulty for everything across the board or did he really just waste months doing nothing before the tournament? At the very least, the author could have had all these battles fuel what should be a stupid level of talent so he finally manages to reach the entry stage of the mid level intent sword technique he has. Why even make this tournament just for him to lose it? By the time the next one happens, he’ll be 26 and well into the grandmaster realm.
