History
Liuge first suspects Aha's involvement after joking that the Aeon might have brought him into the world. He hears someone say “How embarrassing,” but cannot confirm who spoke 5.
After Elysia ascends as the Aeon of Ego, Aha approaches her in a space between dimensions. Aha claims to be there to “watch the fun,” then reveals a long-standing interest in Liuge. Elysia notices Aha's mark on him and a crying-and-laughing mask in his room aboard the Astral Express 159. Liuge later concludes that Aha drew him onto the Path of Elation after startling him awake at the end of a dream 169.
Aha continues to watch Liuge and speaks to him directly. When Liuge reaches a half-step Aeon state, Aha turns up during a private conversation between Liuge and Elysia, hoping to hear it; both tell Aha to leave 269 287.
Aha appears in person as Liuge's inaccessible Tome of Abyssal City becomes a serious problem. After Hanabi reflexively slaps Aha away, Aha warns Liuge that “something's happened” and directs him to inspect the Tome 299. Aha's true form is already helping Elysia hold back tentacles emerging from the passage formed by its pages, while a clone remains beside Liuge 300. After Liuge's ascension, Aha helps protect him as he enters the passage and joins Aili and Lan in repelling Yog-Sothoth 301 302.

- Aeon form — a phantom surrounded by countless masks, resembling a sphere of masks with a shadow behind them. Aha switches to a crying mask during the meeting with Elysia 159.

Personality
Aha seeks amusement even in consequential events: the Aeon treats Elysia's arrival as a show, feigns distress when she keeps her distance, and looks disappointed when Liuge's attempted Aeon advancement fails 159 287. Aha also laughs off being slapped by Hanabi 299. The levity does not prevent Aha from warning Liuge about the Tome or helping contain the threat it creates 299 300.
