Background / History

Welt previously taught history at St. Freya Academy. Liuge initially refers to him as “teacher” and nearly reveals that Welt had served as an undercover agent there, prompting Welt to stop him; Welt is confused by the implication that his teaching post made him a spy. 64

He left Dr. Tesla and Joyce behind to travel, a fact later invoked by a dream-constructed Tesla with memories and personality. The confrontation leaves him visibly awkward and unable to deny her accusation. 141

Welt carries extensive knowledge of Honkai-related events and entities.
