Silas dragged Quirrell, who had been trussed up like a dumpling by the Sekern Red Belt and wrapped in the Life Barrier, through a portal directly into a secluded alley in London. Not far away stood that shabby red telephone booth (Had this thing really been standing here since 1707?)—one of the secret entrances to the Ministry of Magic, Britain's ruling organization for witches and wizards.
Silas walked up to the booth, pulled open the glass door, and roughly shoved Quirrell inside as if stuffing luggage into it before squeezing in himself. The booth was cramped, and Quirrell was wedged into a corner, letting out pained whimpers.
Silas picked up the receiver, ready to dial. But just as he was about to press the first number, he froze.
"Hmm... telephone booth... what was the number again?" He frowned, trying hard to recall the details from the movie. "Was it...? No, that's not right... maybe it was...? Or..."
He thought for a long time but still could not remember the exact number. After all, who would deliberately memorize such a detail while reading in their previous life?
"What a pain!" Silas irritably scratched at his hair, which was still bright red from casting magic. Looking down at Quirrell, curled up at his feet with terror in his eyes, he gave him a hard kick. "It's all your fault! You made me forget the number!"
Quirrell: "Mmph mmph mmph! (Aggrieved and terrified)"
Too lazy to rack his brains any further, Silas decided on the most direct approach—go back and ask!
He raised his hand again and drew a circle. A portal to a secluded corner somewhere in Hogwarts Castle opened instantly. Dragging Quirrell along, he ducked back through it.
A few seconds later, Silas appeared outside Professor McGonagall's office. He could not be bothered to make another trip to the headmaster's office. He knocked on the door and poked his head inside.
"Professor McGonagall! Sorry to bother you! What's the number for that Ministry of Magic telephone booth entrance? I'm in a hurry to deliver a package!" He pointed behind him at Quirrell, who was bound in red bands and floating in midair.
Suppressing her speechlessness, Professor McGonagall answered in the calmest tone she could manage, "It is, Mr. Kirill."
"Okay! Thank you, Professor!" Having gotten his answer, Silas immediately pulled his head back, opened another portal, and dragged Quirrell through it again.
Back at the telephone booth in that London alley, Silas expertly dialed the number.
The booth immediately began to hum and slowly descend.
"Okay." Silas nodded in satisfaction and said to the utterly terrified Quirrell at his feet, "Let's go! I'm taking you on a tour of Azkaban!"
Carrying a "courier" and a special "package," the telephone booth sank underground and headed for the Ministry of Magic. Silas Kirill had completed Dumbledore's assignment in an extremely efficient—and brutal—fashion, while also making a name for himself at the Ministry. One could well imagine the shock and chaos among Ministry officials when they saw this boy escorting the former Dark Arts Defense professor.
In the entrance hall of the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries—or perhaps some reception area—Silas dragged along his "special package," bound in red energy bands and covered in a layer of green light, causing quite a stir. Aurors cautiously surrounded him, but seeing that he was only a child and that the restrained man appeared seriously injured, they hesitated.
Before long, Ms. Amelia Bones, head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement—a stern, capable witch—hurried over after hearing the news. Looking at the bizarre pair before her, especially Silas's conspicuous blood-red hair and the unfamiliar binding magic on Quirrell, she furrowed her brow.
"Child," Amelia said in a steady, authoritative voice, "what is going on here? Who are you? And who is this person you brought?"
Silas tossed Quirrell onto the ground as casually as if he were throwing away trash, then dusted off his hands and introduced him in a relaxed tone. "Hi, Ms. Bones. I'm Silas Kirill, a Hogwarts student. This is Quirinus Quirrell, formerly our school's Dark Arts Defense professor. He is suspected of the attempted deliberate murder of a student."
Amelia Bones's expression grew even more serious. A Hogwarts professor was suspected of trying to murder a student? This was an extremely serious matter!
"Child, accusing a professor of murder is a very serious charge." She crouched down, trying to make her tone gentler, though her gaze remained sharp. "Where is the evidence? What evidence do you have to prove your accusation?"
Without a moment's thought, Silas brought out his biggest backer. "Albus Dumbledore is the witness. He saw the entire thing. Quirrell put a curse on Harry Potter's broom and tried to make him fall to his death."
At the mention of Dumbledore's name, Amelia's expression visibly became more solemn. Dumbledore's testimony carried tremendous weight in the wizarding world.
"I understand." She nodded. "Then, regarding the details of this incident, please..."
Before she could finish, Silas interrupted her. In an extremely serious tone, as though answering a fill-in-the-blank question, he clearly stated:
"Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is the witness."
He recited Dumbledore's full name without missing a word, his tone utterly certain, as if giving the full name was the "detailed" information she had requested.
Amelia Bones: "..."
Looking at Silas's expression, which practically said, I'm being cooperative, right? That's detailed enough, right?, she was momentarily at a loss for words. The corner of her mouth twitched slightly.
"Child..." Amelia took a deep breath, doing her best to maintain a serious expression. "I mean that I need you to describe exactly what happened, not... Professor Dumbledore's full name."
Silas blinked, seeming to finally understand. "Oh, you mean that. It was simple. Quirrell cast a spell to harm Harry Potter, I caught him, tied him up and beat him up, then Professor Dumbledore came and told me to bring him here. You can ask Professor Dumbledore about the details. He knows more."
His explanation was still outrageously "brief," directly passing the problem to Dumbledore.
Amelia looked at Silas, then at Quirrell on the floor, barely clinging to life and still bound by strange magic, and felt a headache coming on. This Hogwarts student's way of doing things and thought process were simply too... unusual.
"All right." In the end, she decided not to keep wrangling over details with this child. "We will contact Headmaster Dumbledore to verify the situation. As for Professor Quirrell... we need to treat him first, then take him into custody."
She motioned for the Aurors behind her to take over Quirrell, but they looked at the bright red energy bindings with some difficulty.
Silas saw their predicament and snapped his fingers. The Sekern Red Belt vanished at once, but the Life Barrier remained in place. He explained, "That green shell will keep him from dying. You'd better not mess with it. All right, I've delivered him, so I'm done, right? I'm going back to eat."
With that, without waiting for Amelia's response, he raised his hand and drew a portal. Right before everyone's eyes, he stepped through it and vanished.
The Ministry officials were left staring at one another, facing the unconscious Quirrell and the mess he had left behind. Today, the Ministry of Magic had received the most "efficient"—and most baffling—"escort" in its history.
