Background

Mu Qianxue was an orphan adopted and raised by her master, whom she regarded as a mother. Her master's death devastated her; when she learned that Cai Yongle had refined her master's soul into a vengeful spirit within the Myriad Ghost Banner, she responded with fury and seized the banner from him. 145

After her encounter with Mu Feiyang in the True Spirit Realm, Mu Qianxue became pregnant. She kept the pregnancy secret during her war with Emperor Yongle, gave birth to Mu Qingling, and sent the child to the True Spirit Realm for safety. Her four-year absence weakened Spirit Immortal Palace's position in the war. 92

Seeking to reverse the conflict, Mu Qianxue challenged Emperor Yongle while both were at Peak Immortal Emperor. Their battle lasted three days without a victor, ending in a proposed truce.
