History

Fall and restoration

The original Spirit Immortal Palace was based on Snow Peak outside Jiangcheng in Wuling Domain. It was devastated during its conflict with Emperor Yongle’s Holy Land: its Immortal King-level cultivators were largely killed, only the Twelve Imperial Guards escaped with Mu Qianxue, and the betrayal of two guards led to the loss of its territory and assets. 136

When Mu Qianxue returned, only 11,300 surviving disciples and three elders remained. The former palace had possessed more than a hundred elders; its remaining senior members included the Eighth Elder, the Twelfth Elder, and the Thirteenth Elder. 139

Mu Feiyang backed Mu Qianxue’s decision to rebuild rather than merely take revenge. Tian Long and the Heavenly Dragon Clan established a mountain-protection formation on Snow Peak, while the palace’s survivors helped restore its damaged buildings. 139 140

War with Emperor Yongle’s Holy Land

When Cai Yongle besieged the rebuilt palace, Mu Qianxue assembled every disciple at the main gate. The palace’s twenty thousand Magic Crystal Cannons suppressed the attacking force and prevented it from breaching the defenses. 142 143

The conflict established the restored palace as a major force in Wuling Domain. Its defenses withstood enemy cannon fire, and its ten Immortal Emperor Peak Lords were revealed during the battle. 144

Expansion and imperial founding

The palace opened recruitment after its reconstruction, seeking both disciples and management personnel. It barred former disciples and used character-based screening to exclude applicants with malicious motives. 148 183

As its influence expanded, Mu Qianxue proposed the Spirit Immortal Imperial Dynasty and expelled sects that refused to join from Wuling Domain. She then tasked the Ten Peak Masters and Four Hall Masters with conquering neighboring domains and organizing legions. 241

After the dynasty unified several domains, the Spirit Immortal Imperial Dynasty was established through a Heavenly Sacrifice Ceremony. Mu Qianxue was formally crowned Imperial Lord. 318

Expansion into higher realms

After ascending to the God Realm, Mu Qianxue decided to establish a new palace near Ascension City so cultivators ascending from the Immortal Spirit Realm would have a place to settle. 376
