Uchiha Chisen did not know what the nobles of the Land of Water were doing, but he happened to hear that remark about starting a Shinobi World war and could not help letting out a sigh.

When the Daimyo of the Land of Water heard that sigh behind him, his whole body seemed to freeze.
In truth, the Land of Water's Daimyo already had a guess as to who had arrived, but he still struggled to keep his expression steady. He even shouted angrily, hoping to rally the Ninja standing beside the nobles.
"I can't be bothered to waste words on you, and you don't deserve to hear them!"
"To these eyes of mine, the evil clinging to you is so thick it's practically spilling over!"
Uchiha Chisen merely glanced at the Daimyo of the Land of Water. As he formed Hand Seals, wooden shafts pierced straight through the Daimyo's body.
Even in the final moment of his life, the Daimyo of the Land of Water's eyes remained filled with disbelief.
He could not believe Uchiha Chisen had attacked without even exchanging more than a few words. Was he not afraid his actions would spark another Shinobi World war?
"Wood Style: Tree Impaling Technique!"
As Uchiha Chisen's icy voice fell, screams and pleas for mercy filled the Daimyo's Residence.
But the Wood Style Tree Impaling Technique showed no mercy whatsoever. In mere moments, the Land of Water's entire Daimyo's Residence had become a scene of carnage.
The Ninja in whom the Daimyo of the Land of Water and the nobles had placed such high hopes wanted to resist, but before they could even react, they too had been impaled on branches.
